Ana joined Ben Oldman in 2021 as a Corporate Manager based in Luxembourg. Previously, she worked at Credit Agricole Indosuez Luxembourg as a private wealth manager. Ana developed her career as a lawyer at Colliers where she was involved in large real estate developments in Spain. Earlier, she was a Junior Lawyer at Baker & McKenzie in its Real Estate Practice and in Linklaters in its Finance & Banking Group. Ana holds both an LLM and a Master in Real Estate from IE Business School, and a LLB from ICADE.

Diego Torres

Diego Torres brings over 30 years of institutional experience. Diego was a Managing Partner and Head of Business Development at Quadriga Asset Managers, a leading alternative investor in Spain. Previously, Diego developed his career as a Director responsible for the Fixed Income Southern Europe Proprietary Trading at Société Générale in Paris, and also as a Director and Head of short-term rates and derivatives trading at Société Générale in Madrid. He was also a Managing Director and Global Head of Treasury at Banco Guipuzcoano. Diego holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Autónoma University of Madrid.

Fermín Barquín

Fermín joined Ben Oldman in 2022. Previously, he worked at the European Investment Bank where he led direct equity investments in infrastructure, participating in deals for a total transactional volume of EUR 1.6bn across Europe. Prior to that, he was an M&A Director at Abengoa where he led transactions for more than EUR 1.5bn mainly in the energy and water sectors. He also worked at Triodos Investment Management, Monitor Capital Private Equity and Arcano Partners. Fermin holds an Executive Master in Finance from ESADE Business School and an Degree of Economic Sciences from San Pablo CEU University.

Isaac Chocron

Isaac joined Ben Oldman in 2019. Previously, he developed his career at GE Capital (General Electric) and BBVA. Additionally, he has worked in the finance department of several international retail companies such as Marks & Spencer in London, Uno de 50 as global CFO and Five Guys as CFO for Spain. Isaac holds an MBA from IE Business School and a BSc in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid.

Jaime Artaza

Jaime joined Ben Oldman in 2021. Prior to joining, Jaime worked as a Summer Analyst at Citigroup in its Investment Banking Division. During his graduate studies, he carried out an off-cycle internship at Ben Oldman. Jaime graduated in Civil Engineering at Imperial College of London where he obtained a Master of Engineering.

Javier Jerez

Javier joined Ben Oldman in 2020. He was previously an analyst at Amento - Sherpa Capital where he was involved in public and private special situations. Javier was a co-founder at Capitel Management, a private family fund focused on event-driven equities and high yield bonds. Javier holds an MBA from IESE Business School with an exchange at Yale University, and received a M.S. in Pharmacy from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio.

Jorge de Miguel

Jorge joined Ben Oldman in 2021 to lead the firm's infrastructure and renewable energy investment activities. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of Spain for Portigon AG, formerly WestLB, where he managed a EUR 1.2bn portfolio of infrastructure and project finance investments. Prior to that, he developed his career at Barclays, leading the Structured Finance Team of Iberia where he built and managed a project finance portfolio of EUR 500mn+. Jorge holds a Degree of Economic Sciences from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid.

Jose Maria Beneyto

Professor Beneyto has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of Corporate law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Competition law, European Union law and International Commercial Arbitration. Professor Beneyto has been an adviser to the European Parliament, the European Commission, the UN and a number of foreign Governments. He was an adviser to the Prime Minister of Spain and from 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the Spanish Parliament, Spokesman for Foreign Affairs, and Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Jose Maria holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Law from the University of Munster, and an LLM from Harvard Law School where he is a Visiting Professor.

Juan Manuel Bethencourt - Chief Legal Officer

Juan Manuel provides legal advisory to Ben Oldman in different areas such as corporate and project finance. He previously worked as a Senior Associate at the Banking and Finance Department of Pérez-Llorca, where he advised national and international clients, listed companies and regulated and non-regulated lenders on an array of financing transactions (including, among others, direct lending, corporate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and asset finance deals). Earlier in his career, Juan Manuel worked in the Banking and Finance Departments of Ashurst and DLA Piper. Juan Manuel holds a Law Degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a LLM from Universidad CEU.

Matt Brenner

Michele Crema

Philippe Zippel

Philippe started his career as a private equity analyst at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners. Following the 2008 credit crisis, he was involved in the origination, execution and asset management of value-add transactions for Atlas Real Estate and Salamanca Capital. Philippe holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Imperial College of London.
