Katy Harper

Katy Harper was born and raised in Rapid City, SD. She attended college at Dickinson State University where she earned her Bachelor degree in Business and minor in Management. She now resides in Rapid City with her husband, son, and daughter on their Ranch. Katy is the youngest daughter of owners Lowell and Tami. She worked summers at BHE growing up, became full time in 2011 and is now part owner with sister Sara. Katy covers sales for schools, sports, events and specializes in your screen print and D2G needs. She enjoys helping design your apparel needs and strives to make your ordering experience enjoyable and easy!

Lowell Pfleger

Job Titles:
  • Owner - President / Accounting
Lowell started BHE in 1986 with his wife Tami Pfleger. He has been involved in all areas of the business over the years and is now semi retired however, still handles all the book keeping.

Rob McNabb

Job Titles:
  • Production Manager
Rob has been with BHE for 24 years. He has been the main operator of BHE's embroidery machines since the beginning.

Sara Mills

Job Titles:
  • Graphic Design / Website Manager
Sara is the oldest daughter of Lowell and Tami Pfleger. She has worked on and off at BHE since she was 14 years old, however, she came to work at BHE full time in 2007. Sara has a Bachelors of Science degree from Chadron State College in business with an accounting option.

Tami Pfleger

Job Titles:
  • Owner - V.P / Merchandising and Sales Specialist
Tami got her first glimpse of computerized embroidery in 1983. She was amazed by the detail and instantly knew it was a technique she needed to learn more about. That interest has parlayed into a successful family owned business that will celebrate 30 year in 2016. Tami works alongside her husband Lowell Pfleger and her two daughters Sara Mills and Katy Harper. She has an older son, Ross, who lives in North Dakota and she has been blessed with two handsome grandsons! Throughout the years Tami has worked with an honorable list of clients on the national level; the Smithsonian Institute in Washing ton D.C., Yellowstone National Park, and the National Museum of the American Indian, to name a few. Tami was instrumental in creating and marketing Lakota Designs, a unique line of wearable art focusing on the Plains Indian. In addition to designs created by BHE, the line has also featured artwork by award winning Native artists Don Montileaux, Jim Yellowhawk, Martin Red Bear and Sandy Swallow-Morgan. Lakota Designs has achieved national and global status and can be purchased locally at Crazy Horse and Prairie Edge. Merchandising is Tami's passion and she is proud to have negotiated long standing contracts with the Black Hills Stock Show and the National Little Britches Rodeo Association for BHE to be the exclusive vendor of their souvenir merchandise.
