BLDG Electric was founded in 2015 by Chris Lewoniuk. Chris, who previously co-owned a facility management company, was routinely dismayed with the task of finding competent electrical contractors in Edmonton to service modern Building Automation Systems (BAS) and electrical systems. Seeing a gap in the market, Chris decided to develop critical skills in house by bringing on a line of BAS controls, and by hiring Kevin Hartmetz, an electrician with a great skill set and a passion for modern technology.
