Alexandra Sharp, RN, BSN, CNRN, is the Director of Admissions. Previously she was a clinical nurse liaison and evaluated patients throughout the United States for admission to Craig. Prior to becoming a liaison, Alex was a nurse on the spinal cord injury floor at Craig Hospital. She has also worked with patients with other chronic neurological conditions and is a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse.

Amy M. Goldstein, RPh, BS.Pharm., MS, is the Directory of Pharmacy Services. Amy received her BS in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1988 and M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy Administration in 1992. Amy completed two ASHP Residencies, Pharmacy Practice in 1991 and Advanced Hospital Pharmacy Administration in 1992. In 2011, Amy received an Executive Leadership in Health Care Informatics Certificate from the University of Colorado - Denver. She has been a pharmacist since 1989 and has been the Pharmacy Director since 2002. She also is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Regis University and the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. In 2014 she was named Outstanding Preceptor of the year by the Skaggs School of Pharmacy. She is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating of the medication use process at Craig Hospital. Amy is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and Colorado Pharmacist Association.

Andrew Park, MD, joined the CNS Physicians Group in 2021 and shares his time serving as one of the SCI physicians and research scientists.
Dr. Park received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado, and a fellowship in spinal cord medicine at Craig Hospital.
He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. His clinical and research interests are in early detection and prevention of secondary complications after SCI, spasticity management, and translational biomarker sciences.
In his personal time, you'll find Dr. Park with his family enjoying all that Colorado has to offer, including hiking and camping in the summers and skiing in the winters.

Angela Oakley is the Chief Financial Officer at the Mental Health Center of Denver, overseeing the organization's accounting, finance, contracting, consulting services and accounts receivable functions.
With 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, Angela has worked in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations including hospitals, insurance entities and other healthcare organizations. Her passion for leadership and mission-oriented work fuels her drive to enhance well-being throughout the community.

Anne Crocker, MHA, BSN, BA, RN, CRRN, is Inpatient Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Craig Hospital.
Anne joined the Craig family in 2012 and was promoted to Clinical Nurse Coordinator in 2014. Anne has been actively involved in many interdisciplinary committees including Fall, EOC, MUSC and SCI. Anne assumed supervisory responsibilities for Craig's new lab department in February 2020 and is the liaison with SMC for Craig's radiology departments.
As the Inpatient Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Anne focuses on the administrative and clinical direction of the inpatient nursing department, as well as lab/phlebotomy and radiology services.

Avery La Fleur, MSW, has been a part of the Craig Hospital family since 2004. After completing his undergraduate degrees at Wartburg College in Waverly, Ia., he moved to Colorado. After several years working in corrections, Avery went on to get his master's degree in social work at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, where his emphasis was in medical social work as well as individual, family and group counseling. He is also a guest professor for the University of Phoenix. Avery provides educational classes at Craig Hospital in the areas of sexuality and romance, discharge planning, and social skills.

Barrett Baker is the founder and president of Daniels Petroleum Company. Daniels Petroleum began as an oil and gas land brokerage consulting business in 1984, and has subsequently evolved into an oil and gas exploration company that specializes in prospect generation.
Barrett has served on several boards, including the Perfect Drift Fly Fishing Club, and HOA boards in Boulder and Carbondale, Colorado. Barrett and his wife are philanthropically involved in several arts and education institutions, such as the University of Colorado Foundation, Claremont McKenna College and the Clyfford Still Museum, as well as the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
Barrett is an Eagle Scout and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mineral land management from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He enjoys fly fishing, hunting, skiing and spending time with his wife and three children.

Benjamin Ingraham, DO, joined the CNS Medical Group and Craig Hospital in August 2022. Before coming to Craig, Dr. Ingraham was the Brain Injury Program Medical Director at the University of Utah/Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
Dr. Ingraham received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Illinois. He performed his internship at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, IL, then completed his residency at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago and his Fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine also at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab.
Brianne Hovey has felt a fond connection to the work of Craig Hospital for most of her life, having known several people who have benefitted greatly from their rehab here. She feels honored to be in a position to give back to an organization that has offered her friends such a profound transformation from injury to healing. As Funds Manager, she coordinates financial management and reporting on funds related to patient assistance and programmatic needs of the hospital.
Brianne comes to Craig with 15 years of nonprofit accounting experience. She is a certified yoga teacher and is in school to become a yoga therapist. In her free time, she loves to travel, ride bikes, and be outdoors with her favorite people!
Bruce Schroffel has worked in healthcare administration for more than 40 years visioning, leading, managing and developing strategies for large, complex academic healthcare organizations. He was raised in Berkeley, California and started his healthcare career in New York at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He served first as an administrator for a community-based center in the South Bronx and then moved into the position of senior associate director for hospital operations.
Schroffel was then recruited to the Medical Center at the University of California, San Francisco. In 1997, during the merger of UCSF and Stanford he was named senior vice president for UCSF Medical Center and Mount Zion Hospital. In 2001, he was tapped to lead Stony Brook University Hospital, a 504-bed academic medical center in New York. As Stony Brook's CEO, Schroffel oversaw a cultural and financial turnaround, and a $300 million renovation of the hospital. In January 2006, when the University of Colorado Hospital was enduring difficult challenges, Schroffel became president and CEO and dramatically extended UCH's reach and breadth, raising performance to among the top five percent in the U.
In 2012 Schroffel was the architect of a major merger growing UCH to a five hospital, $2.5 billion, 15,000 person enterprise and was named president and chairman. In 2014 he retired from UCHealth. Today he serves as CEO of ElevenP15, a start-up biotech firm developing therapeutics and biomarkers for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Schroffel has consulted in healthcare strategy in the U.S. and China, recruiting executives and coaching physicians and administrators. He is chairman of the Emily Griffith Foundation; is special envoy to and board member of Project C.U.R.E., the world's largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment; has served on the Denver Foundation board; and was on the CoBiz Bank Board. He is currently on the board of the Mental Health Center of Denver and Adams County Food Bank, among others. In 2010 he was named The Denver Post's Business Person of the Year and in 2014 he received the University Medal from the University of Colorado.

Candy Tefertiller, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS, is the Executive Director of Research and Evaluation and former Director of Physical Therapy. Candy received a B.S in Biology from Mount Olive College in 1997 and a Master's in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2000. Candy has been working in the field of neurological rehabilitation since 2000 and received an assistive technology practitioner (ATP) certification in 2005 and became a certified neurological clinical specialist (NCS) in 2007. Candy then received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain Health Care University in 2008. She has been involved in numerous research projects and has focused much of her career on interventions and program development promoting recovery after neurologic injury or disease. Candy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Neurologic Section.

After 16-plus years in the legal and financial industries, Christopher is what you might call a reformed attorney who has set his sights on the restaurant industry. This nonlinear approach is exactly what makes Christopher so valuable: He understands the finer points of business from the inside out. Christopher has partnered with Chef Lon Symensma since 2014 and they officially launched ChoLon Restaurant Concepts, the Denver restaurant group that includes ChoLon, Cho77, and LeRoux, with Lon in early 2017. Christopher works alongside Lon to ensure that daily operations run smoothly while keeping an eye on the future. He leads the front of the house management team, oversees all aspects of restaurant business operations, including finance, legal, human resources, and development and investment opportunities.
Chuck received degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and an MBA in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Prior to the formation of Ardent Mills, Dan held various merchandising and managerial positions since joining Cargill in 1981. In 2009, Dan was named president of Horizon Milling, a Cargill joint venture with CHS. In this capacity Dan was responsible for the flour milling, mix and bakery operations of Horizon Milling in the U.S. and Canada, offering wheat and flour products and solutions for a wide range of ingredient applications.
Prior to that, Dan served for 10 years as president of Cargill AgHorizons, U.S., and was responsible for the overall management of Cargill's grain handling and retail crop input business in the U.S. He was appointed as assistant vice president of Cargill, Ltd. in Canada in 1990 and of Cargill's grain division in 1992. In 1995, he was named vice president of its North American grain business.
Dan currently serves on the Executive Committee of the North American Millers' Association and the Board of Trustees of the Grain Foods Foundation. Dan also serves on the Foundation Board of Craig Hospital, Denver, Colorado, and on the Board of Trustees of Bethel University, St. Paul, Minn.

Dana Polonsky, PT, is the Vice President of Clinical Services. She received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky, 1981. Dana joined Craig in 1984 as a physical therapist, was the Director of PT between 1997- 2005, and in 2005 was promoted to VP of Clinical Services. She is responsible for clinical and management of the departments of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology, psychology, therapeutic recreation, clinical care management, guest services, risk management, security, safety, engineering and volunteer services.

Darlene Dumont, RRT, BSHA, is Director of Respiratory Therapy at Craig Hospital.

Darlene's responsibilities are the oversight of the respiratory therapy staff and department services provided, as well as facilitating the BLS and ACLS programs at Craig.

Derrek Hidalgo MBA, RN, BSN serves as the VP of Nursing Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Craig Hospital. Derrek earned his undergraduate degree in Nursing from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. He also has a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Loma Linda University. Derrek has 23 years of nursing experience with his clinical and leadership background focused on adult medical/surgical/neuro critical care, education and pediatric orthopedics. Prior to joining Craig Hospital, Derrek was the Chief Nurse Executive/Director of Patient Care Services at Shriners Hospital for Children's Spokane in Spokane, Washington. Diane Reinhard, DNP, MBA, MSCIS, RN, CRRN, NE-BC, is Vice President of Hospital Services and Community Impact at Craig Hospital.
At Craig, Diane oversees the utilization of human, fiscal and material resources allocated to quality control, food services, pharmacy, infection control, respiratory therapy, and community relations. She led the program to establish Target Zero, a campus-wide initiative to reduce or eliminate all hospital-acquired harm/infections. As a member of Craig's leadership team, she helped Craig earn its designation as a Magnet facility for excellence in nursing four times and received the NDNQI® award six times for the highest quality outcomes in nursing care in a rehabilitation facility. In 2021, Craig Hospital became a Civic 50 Colorado Honoree. In 2018, Diane received the C-Suite Award from the Denver Business Journal.

Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler is the Chief Catalyst and Founder of The Equity Project, LLC - an organization designed to support organizations and communities in building diversity, equity and inclusion strategies, and The HR Shop, LLC - a boutique human resources firm designed to support non-profits and small businesses. She is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Inclusion Officer for Children's Hospital Colorado and the former Executive Director of the Office of Human Resources for the City and County of Denver. Dr. Mosby Tyler is nationally recognized for her equity work with non-profit, community, government and corporate organizations.
Dr. Mosby Tyler has a strong academic presence in Colorado, as a popular guest lecturer at University of Denver, University of Colorado, Colorado Mesa University, Aurora Community College, Regis University and many other social, political and community organizations. Dr. Mosby Tyler has a vast, 33-year background in human resources, diversity & inclusion, training and operations management. She has held leadership roles at AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, the McKesson Corporation, Statline, the City and County of Denver and Children's Hospital Colorado. Eric Feagler is Americas Startup Sales Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
He was previously VP of America's Sales for General Electric Digital where he directed sales strategy and execution of vertical and specialty sales in North and South America. Prior to GE, Eric was Executive Vice President of Client Solutions at Simple Energy, where he was responsible for building their global sales team and business strategy. He also spent 12 years at Microsoft in various Sales and Marketing leadership roles in China, Latin America, Canada and corporate headquarters. Most recently he was General Manager of Corporate Accounts Microsoft Canada where he had nationwide responsibility for leading all aspects of the business for Commercial and Public Sector customers.
Eric started his career in the US Navy flying A-6's until sustaining an SCI in a rock climbing accident in WA. He is a Craig Hospital alumnus, is active in disabled sports and previously served on the board of Outdoors for All.

Eric T. Spier, MD, serves as the Brain Injury Program Medical Director and Outpatient Brain Injury Medical Director at Craig Hospital. He also serves as Neurorehabilitation Consultant at St. Anthony's Hospital in Denver, a Level I Trauma Center.
Dr. Spier earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed his residency at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is boarded in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Brain Injury Medicine.
He joined the medical staff at Craig Hospital in 2016 after building and serving as the Medical Director for Mentis El Paso, a 24-bed post-acute neurorehabilitation program that served West Texas, New Mexico and surrounding areas.
Dr. Spier serves as the Medical Director for the Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado and also serves as the Medical Director for the Board of Governors of the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists.
He has co-authored textbook chapters in the field of brain injury medicine.

Erin Eiselein is a shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP where she represents a wide variety of health care organizations on regulatory, compliance and dispute resolution matters. Erin has particular expertise in HIPAA and has authored a book on the subject.
Throughout Erin's career, community service and pro bono work has been an important part of her practice. Gary A. Maerz, MD, MBA, PE, joined CNS Medical Group in 2001 after completing a year-long Neurotrauma Rehabilitation Fellowship at Craig Hospital.
Dr. Maerz previously completed medical school and subsequent residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed an internship in General Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver.
He is board certified in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is further board certified in the subspecialties of Spinal Cord Medicine and Brain Injury Medicine. He has additional degrees in engineering and business and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Maerz is the medical director of the Craig Hospital Combined Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. He has a special interest in these complex injuries, as well as spasticity management and metabolic changes after spinal cord injury.
Gerry Lewis-Jenkins is the former Chief Operating Officer of COPIC where she focused on market growth and expansion, legislative activities, and the oversight of departments such as Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, Sales, and Underwriting. Before joining COPIC, Gerry served as Executive Director of Humana Health Plans of Colorado.
Gerry also has a background as a registered nurse, with more than 15 years of experience in clinical and hospital management. She is a member of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities Advisory Board. She has served on the American Hospital Association's (AHA) Committee on Governance as well as the board of directors for Platte Valley Medical Center and as the Chair of the board of directors for the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO).

Joan Henneberry spent over 30 years with a career focused on improving access to and quality of health and healthcare at the local, state and national levels. She worked at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for 13 years before she and husband Mark took a detour from Colorado to Washington, DC where she held several positions, including Director of Health Policy, at the National Governors Association. During her tenure at NGA she assisted states with implementation of the state children's health insurance program, and provided consultation and technical assistance to governors and their staffs translating policy goals into operational success.
After returning to Colorado, Joan served on the cabinet of Gov. Bill Ritter as the head of the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, the state Medicaid agency, where she led efforts to expand eligibility for Medicaid and implemented various components of the governor's health reform agenda, including the creation of the Center for Improving Value in Healthcare. Joan retired in 2018 after almost seven years as a consultant and Vice President with Health Management Associates, a national healthcare research and consulting firm.
Joan serves on the board of the Colorado Visiting Nurses Association and the board of the Denver Health Medical Plan. She has a degree in sociology and secondary education, and a master's degree in management from Regis University.

Heather Both, MA, CCC-SLP, is the Director of Outpatient Services. Heather has been with Craig Hospital since 2010. She received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2006 and an M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2009. Heather was the primary Speech-Language Pathologist at a high school in Highlands Ranch, Colorado from 2009-2010 before taking the opportunity to join the Craig Hospital team. Heather has worked in Inpatient and Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology as well as Outpatient Management at Craig. She served as the 2018 Brain Injury Summit Conference Sponsorship Chair and has led numerous projects and initiatives at Craig including outpatient funding processes and reports, scheduling processes, and growth and quality initiatives.

Jacob Vanderslice is a Founder and Principal at VanWest Partners, a Denver-based real estate investment company. VanWest specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of self storage facilities and other opportunistic investments across commercial real estate. The company targets real estate in submarkets with strong fundamentals, with an opportunity to add value through both revenue and expense optimization. VanWest currently owns and operates 30 self storage facilities in eleven states, along with retail and residential assets in the Denver area.
Prior to forming VanWest, Jacob was a professional firefighter and arson investigator. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, flying airplanes, and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
Jacque Howard, MBA, is the Controller. Jacque joined the management team at Craig in July 2007. Her entire career in accounting and finance career has been in the healthcare industry. Jacque graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in Accounting and obtained her M.B.A. degree from the University of Colorado at Denver with an emphasis in Finance. She held previous positions as Controller at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver and Hacienda Health Care in Phoenix, AZ. Jacque also worked as a Director of Budgeting and Cost Accounting at HealthOne and Director of Reimbursement at Exempla Healthcare. At Craig she is responsible for managing the accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, payroll and patient accounting functions.

Jacquie Hall is the Senior Director of Principal and Planned Gifts for the Craig Hospital Foundation. She is responsible for working one-on-one with friends of Craig, encouraging their involvement to support world-class care for our patients and their families. Prior to coming to Craig in December 2012, Jacquie developed and implemented major gift, planned giving, and capital campaigns with the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and College of Law and Mile High United Way, having raised over $80MM for foster care, quality childcare, transformational housing for low-income families and after-school programs. Jacquie is the Past Chair of the Major Gifts Council United Way Worldwide and has served as an instructor and consultant for United Way and Up With People, training professionals internationally. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado.

Jandel Allen-Davis, MD is the President and CEO of Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital that exclusively specializes in the neurorehabilitation and research for patients with spinal cord injury and brain injury.
Prior to Craig, Dr. Allen-Davis was the Vice President of Government, External Relations and Research for Kaiser Permanente Colorado from 2009-2018. In that role, she led the organization's government relations and regulatory affairs, community relations and community benefit investment, clinical and health services research, stakeholder engagement, communications, and advertising and marketing functions.
Dr. Allen-Davis is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and was in active practice for 25 years. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Allen-Davis completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Allen-Davis is an active participant in the community and currently serves on the boards of Denver Botanic Gardens, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, National Jewish Health, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and AdvanceEDU. Dr. Allen-Davis also serves on the Colorado Economic Development Commission and is a Denver Branch Director of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank Board of Governors. She is married to a Dartmouth College graduate, Anthony Davis (‘82) and they have two children, one of whom graduated from Dartmouth College in 2009. She enjoys gardening and hiking and is a fiber artist whose work has been displayed in several galleries over the years.
A native of Omaha, Jane Schumaker holds bachelor and master's degrees from the University of Nebraska. Her career has focused on academic medicine, including medical schools, teaching hospitals and physician practices. Prior to retiring from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2019, she held executive positions at University of Chicago, University of Florida, Medical College of Wisconsin, and University of Nebraska Hospital and University of Nebraska Medical School.
Throughout her career she has participated in several boards and committees related to health care and has served as president or chairman of several professional national organizations. In Denver, she has served on boards and committees including Children's Hospital Colorado, University of Colorado Hospital, UCHealth, Colorado Access, CU Physical Therapy, CU Trust, Coloradans Protecting Patient Access, Colorado and DAWN Clinic.
Schumaker has lived in Colorado for 10 years and is happily retired in Denver. She has three sons and five grandchildren.
Janna Fisher joined the Craig Hospital Foundation team in August 2022 with a decade of experience in development and fundraising events. Most recently, Janna served as Senior Associate Director of Special Events at National Jewish Health. She got her start in fundraising events at the American Friends of the Israel Museum in Los Angeles.
Janna received her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Art History and Ethnic Studies and has a masters degree in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University.
Janna and her husband have two young sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and on weekends you can find her out to breakfast, at the South Pearl farmers markets, Stanley Marketplace and searching for garbage and fire trucks with her toddler.

Jay P. Shepard served as Executive Chairman of Versartis, Inc., from December 2013 to 2015. In May 2015, Mr. Shepard joined Versartis as President and CEO. In 2018, Versartis merged with Aravive (NASDAQ: ARAV) and he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2018 to January 2020, when he retired. From 2008 to 2015, Mr. Shepard was the Executive Partner at Sofinnova Ventures. Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of NextWave Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Pfizer), President and Chief Executive Officer of Ilypsa (acquired by Amgen), interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Relypsa (Ilypsa's spin-out company, which was acquired by Galencia), and Vice President of Commercial Operations at Telik and Oncology Business Unit Head of Alza Pharmaceuticals (Alza was acquired by Johnson & Johnson).

Jeffrey C. Berliner, DO, joined the medical staff at Craig Hospital after working as Clinical Director of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at TIRR Memorial Hermann.
He completed his fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine after graduating from residency at Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in June 2008. He received his medical degree in 2004 at Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Berliner's primary focus is on caring for patients recovering from spinal cord injuries. His clinical and research include current concepts in neurorecovery, treatment of paraplegic and tetraplegic patients, and prevention of secondary complications related to spinal cord injury.
He is a member of the American Spinal Cord Injury Membership and Program Committee, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physiatrists, International Spinal Cord Society, and the NeuroRecovery Network Health Committee. Clinical interests include spinal cord injury, dual diagnosis injuries (brain and spinal cord), general rehabilitation, spasticity management and pain management.
In Denver in 2015, Dr. Berliner founded the Rehabilitation Service Volunteer Partnership (RSVP), a not-for-profit clinic that provides free compassionate health care for persons with catastrophic injury, and serves as its executive chairman.

Since February 1, 2017, Emily Robinson has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FirstBank, the third largest privately held bank in the nation. Prior to being named COO, Robinson served as Regional President for FirstBank's Northwest Metro Denver and California markets from 2015 to 2017. As Regional President, Robinson was responsible for over 33 branch locations totaling more than $4.5 billion in deposits. Robinson also led corporate training efforts from 2014 to 2016. She previously served as President of the West Market, President of the Arvada Market and held various officer positions, after starting her career at FirstBank in 1993.
During her career with FirstBank, Robinson served as a member (2006-2012) and Chair (2011-2012) of FirstBank's Corporate Credit Policy Committee. Jenny Robinson is the Chief Investment Officer for Continuum Partners, a leading local real estate developer. In this role, she is responsible for leading all debt and equity transactions and directing asset management activities. Jenny originally joined Continuum's finance department in 2005 where she has worked on sourcing debt and equity for nearly all of Continuum's development projects to date as well as underwriting new project opportunities, several billion dollars of financial structuring.
Jenny holds a degree in finance and accounting from Iowa State University and a master's degree from the University of Colorado. She is also an alumnus of Craig Hospital.

Jessica Hobbs joined TEGNA in April of 2015 as Group Human Resources Director, based out of KUSA in Denver, Colorado. She is the HR lead for several of the TEGNA stations in the Western region of the country.

Jill Stelley Virden, MS, CTRS, is the Director of Volunteer Services and the Craig Hospital Gift Shop. Jill has a BS from St. Cloud State in St. Cloud, MN, and an MS from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. Jill began in the Therapeutic Recreation department in 1990 and then was the Volunteer and Gift Shop Coordinator from 2008 until her promotion to Director in 2021. While in the TR department Jill worked in all areas of the program including the SCI team, TBI team and Horticultural Therapy, and conducted a research project related to recreation and patient outcomes. Jill also developed the TBI outpatient program for the TR department. Jill now recruits, trains and places volunteers for Craig Hospital, and is in charge of all aspects of the Gift Shop. Jill is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and a member of Colorado Healthcare Directors of Volunteer Services (CHDVS).
Joan Henneberry spent over 30 years with a career focused on improving access to and quality of health and healthcare at the local, state and national levels. She worked at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for 13 years before she and husband Mark took a detour from Colorado to Washington, DC where she held several positions, including Director of Health Policy, at the National Governors Association. During her tenure at NGA she assisted states with implementation of the state children's health insurance program, and provided consultation and technical assistance to governors and their staffs translating policy goals into operational success.
After returning to Colorado, Joan served on the cabinet of Gov. Bill Ritter as the head of the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, the state Medicaid agency, where she led efforts to expand eligibility for Medicaid and implemented various components of the governor's health reform agenda, including the creation of the Center for Improving Value in Healthcare. Joan retired in 2018 after almost seven years as a consultant and Vice President with Health Management Associates, a national healthcare research and consulting firm.
Joan serves on the board of the Colorado Visiting Nurses Association and the board of the Denver Health Medical Plan. She has a degree in sociology and secondary education, and a master's degree in management from Regis University.

Previously, John was the Senior Vice President, Managing Director and founder of Alliance Bernstein's Denver, Colorado, office which specializes in institutional and private client asset management. He joined the firm as a Financial Advisor in 2001 and co-founded Bernstein's office in Houston, Texas. He was named a Principal in 2004 before relocating to Denver in 2005. Prior to joining Bernstein, John was in the mortgage banking industry with Citibank and other large banks.

Jordan Ames joined the Craig Hospital Foundation in March 2013 as Communications Manager. In this role, she leads communication strategies for the Foundation with an emphasis on donor stewardship and informing the public about the impact of gifts made to Craig. She manages all print and electronic publications related to Foundation key messages and supports overall communication efforts and marketing for all Foundation programs and events. She holds a master's degree in Organizational and Professional Communication with an emphasis in PR and Marketing. She brings Craig more than 17 years of professional communications and marketing experience within the higher education, special event and hospitality sectors.
Judy Smart, P.T., joined the Craig Admissions team in October 2018. Previously, Judy worked as a Physical Therapist at Craig for 28 years, treating inpatients on the spinal cord injury and brain injury teams, outpatient SCI patients, and outpatient/PEAK SCI and BI clients in Craig's warm water therapy pool. Currently, Judy travels in Colorado and around the U.S. to evaluate patients for and speak to families about Craig.

Kim Frey, PhD, CCC-SLP, CBIS, is the Director of Speech-Language Pathology and joined Craig in 2013. She received her B.S. in Communication from the University of Tulsa in 1993, her M.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995, and a dual PhD in Cognitive Science and Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2013. For 14 years, she worked in inpatient neurologic rehabilitation and also researched cognitive impairment due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and viral illness. Subsequently, she became an Instructor in the Neurobehavioral Disorders Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In this program, she served as Director of the Constraint Induced Aphasia Therapy clinic and was also the study coordinator for a double-blind, placebo controlled pharmacologic and cognitive rehabilitation trial for persons with traumatic brain injury. She has presented nationally and internationally and published on several topics including neurobehavioral disorders following stroke, traumatic brain injury, and West Nile virus and also a water protocol for persons with dysphagia related to stroke.

Kyle L. Mickalowski, MPH, is the Director of Quality Management. Laura Wehrli, PT, DPT, NCS, ATP, is Director of Physical Therapy at Craig Hospital.
Laura graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and Temple University with a Master, and subsequently Doctorate, of Physical Therapy. She began her career in spinal cord injury rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY in 2000 until joining the Craig Hospital staff in 2004. She became the Assistant PT Supervisor in 2005 and SCI Floor Supervisor in 2008. She achieved her Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) certification in 2007 and became a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) in 2016.
Laura is a professional educator as well as an associated faculty member for the University of Colorado PT program. She has served in various leadership roles within the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (ASCIP) and is a member of the APTA.
Leigh Ann Metscher, LCSW, has worked in the field of medical and psychiatric social work for ten years, including three years in acute care with patients and families with spinal cord injury and brain injury. Leigh Ann joined the Craig Admissions team in January, 2014. Prior to Craig, she worked as a Social Worker in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Denver Health Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Denver.
Lester Butt, Ph.D., A.B.P.P., is the Director of the Department of Psychology. He received his doctoral training at The George Washington University (M.Phil. 1970 and Ph.D. 1973) in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Butt did his internship and post-doctoral fellowship within the Harvard Medical School hospital system, 1972-1974. Dr. Butt has worked in the field of Rehabilitation Psychology since beginning at Craig Hospital in 1977 and has served as the Director of Psychology since 1987. Dr. Butt is responsible for direct clinical care and administrative duties. Dr. Butt is Board Certified and is the immediate Past President of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology, a specialty within the American Board of Professional Psychology. Additionally, he is the three-time Past President of the American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers (AASCIPSW) and has served on their Board of Directors for ten years. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association divisions of Rehabilitation Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Trauma Psychology and has served as a Panel Member for the Consortium of Spinal Cord Medicine, Clinical Practice and Consumer Guidelines for Depression and Individuals with Ventilator Dependency. Dr. Butt received a National Institute of Health Mental Health Fellowship, 1968-1972 and is the recipient of the Clinical Performance and Essie Morgan Awards from AASCIPSW. In 2007, he was given the Lifetime Award of Practitioner Excellence by the American Psychological Association's Division of Rehabilitation Psychology. He is on the Editorial Board of NeuroRehabilitation and serves as the reviewer for multiple other publications.
Linda Monaghan joined the Craig Admissions team in 2022 as a Clinical Liaison. Linda is a physical therapist with over thirty years of experience, primarily in acute rehabilitation and home health. She also has experience as a liaison for other acute rehab programs.

Lisa is the President and General Counsel of Apartment Income REIT Corp. or AIR (NYSE: AIRC) which was created from the separation transaction of Apartment Investment and Management Company or Aimco (NYSE: AIV). She has specific responsibility for governance, information technology and process innovation, human resources, and legal. Lisa joined Aimco in 2002 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Prior to her role with AIR, Lisa served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Aimco. Lisa earned her undergraduate degree (with honors and distinction) in public policy from Stanford University and earned her law degree (cum laude) from Harvard Law School and served on the Harvard Law Review, including as managing editor.
Lisa is active in her community. In addition to serving on the Craig Foundation Board of Trustees, she served as a trustee of the Rose Community Foundation from 2010-2020, including as chairman of the Child and Family Development Committee and member of the Audit and Finance and Gift Acceptance Committees. From 2012 - 2015, Lisa served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Denver Jewish Day School and served on the Board of Trustees from 2008 to 2016.
Lisa is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program, an intensive two-year program of Jewish leadership and learning, and she is an alumna of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of United Jewish Communities (now Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA)). She has also served as the Chairman of the Legal Committee of JFNA and served on the Bylaws and Governance Committee. Lisa is a past member of the Coordinating Council of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado (now JEWISHcolorado) and a past board member of Allied Jewish Apartments (now Kavod Senior Life) and Jewish Family Service of Colorado.
Lisa is a Denver native and met her husband, Rich, at her first youth group event (they married 15 years later). Rich and Lisa are the proud parents of Avi. When not advancing AIR's success, you are likely to find Lisa with her family and friends, cheering the Denver Broncos or any other Colorado sports team, relishing a round of golf, or enjoying a concert.

Lori assists the Foundation President, staff, and the Board of Directors with various support functions. Lori is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her interests include golfing, reading, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She joined the Foundation in June 2015, however, has been working at Craig Hospital since 1999.
Margaret Jones, MD, MPH, joined CNS Medical Group in January 2022 after practicing as an attending physician at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was also an assistant professor for the Department of PM&R at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Jones is boarded in physical medicine and rehabilitation, spinal cord injury medicine and brain injury medicine.
Dr. Jones attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then completed her residency at the University of Washington, serving as Chief Resident during her final year. She pursued a fellowship at the Kessler Institute/New Jersey Medical School. She then returned to Seattle to provide care for patients with SCI at Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Jones moved to Tennessee to help in the building of the relatively new department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Vanderbilt in 2019.
When not at work, she enjoys a number of outside activities including hiking and camping through road trips to the beach and mountains. Many of her outside activities include her two labradoodles, Penny and Copper.

Mark R. Johansen, MD, has served as Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Program at Craig Hospital since 2011 and has been the Chair of the SCI Program Committee since 2005. He was elected President of the CNS Medical Group in 2013.
Dr. Johansen graduated as an MD with honors from the University of Utah School of Medicine and also completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Utah, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He was awarded subspecialty board certification in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Medicine in 2003 and was honored with the American Board of PM&R Outstanding Performance Award. Dr. Johansen is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and has been presented with the Jerome Gersten Clinical Teaching Award multiple times over his tenure.
He joined the CNS Medical Group in July 2001 following a subspecialty fellowship program in Neurotrauma Rehabilitation at Craig Hospital.
Dr. Johansen has been honored as "Top Doctor" in SCI Medicine by 5280 Magazine numerous times beginning in 2015. He is a member of the American Academy of PM&R, American Spinal Injury Association, and the Academy of SCI Professionals, where has served on several committees. Dr. Johansen has multiple publications and presentations, but has special interest in the clinical management of individuals with catastrophic SCI, as well as more focused interest in pain and spasticity management following SCI and brain injury (BI).

Mary Hewitt, RHIA, is the Director of Health Information Management and Craig's Privacy Officer. Mary received a B.S. from Illinois State University in 1978. She has worked in the field since that time and has been a director at Craig since 2000. Mary is responsible for the planning, organizing and directing the function, services and operations provided by the Health Information Management Department in the maintenance and use of the medical record. She is also responsible for protecting patient's privacy rights and their individually identifiable health information as required by the HIPAA Standards for Privacy. Mary is a member of several professional organizations including the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); Colorado Health Information Management Association (CHIMA); National Association Medical Staff Services; and Colorado Association Medical Staff Services.

Michael Makley, MD, joined the CNS Medical Group in 2013 and leads one of the brain injury treatment teams.
Dr. Makley is a neurologist, researcher, teacher and inventor with 20 years of experience taking care of people with brain injuries.
Prior to Craig, Dr. Makley was the Medical Director of a 38-bed specialized brain injury rehabilitation unit at the Kernan Hospital at the University of Maryland. In addition to Dr. Makley's clinical, research and administrative work at Kernan, he was the Co-Director of the Multidisciplinary Spasticity Clinic and led an Outpatient Brain Injury Clinic. He served for many years as Chair of Kernan's Biomedical Ethics Advisory Committee.

Molly Rauzi is a consultant and Chief Information Officer with the strategy execution firm Gagen MacDonald. Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, she was Managing Director leading the Business Advisory Services Practice in the Denver office of Grant Thornton LLP.
Molly brings her experience in systems management leading large, complex business transformation, culture and organizational change initiatives to the Craig Hospital Board of Directors. She advises on the governance of corporate functions and shared services across the enterprise. Her experience and insights have helped numerous organizations ready their workforces for the many changes that new technologies, new business models and new strategies bring.
Molly served as an appointee of then-Mayor of Denver John Hickenlooper as the Chief Information Officer for the City and County of Denver. Before working for the Mayor of Denver, she served as the Director of Technology for Denver International Airport. She also serves on the board of the Colorado Technology Association and NewCloud Networks.
Morgan Brubaker, DO Physician; Outpatient Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Programs Medical Director
Morgan Brubaker, DO, joined the CNS Medical Group in 2016. She is the Medical Director of the Outpatient Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Programs. She also serves as a Neurorehabilitation Physician Consultant at Swedish Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Englewood, CO.
Dr. Brubaker earned her medical degree at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic. She served as Chief Resident during her final year of residency and was honored with the Earl Elkins Mayo Resident Award for outstanding patient care, teaching and research. She completed her fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Craig Hospital. She has led both inpatient spinal cord and brain injury treatment teams.
She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. She is working toward Brain Injury Medicine certification. Her clinical interests include managing patients with complex neurologic injuries (brain injury and spinal cord injury), clinical informatics, and quality improvement.
When not at Craig, Dr. Brubaker enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. On most days, they can be found outdoors, hiking, exploring and playing at local parks.

Nancy Harbin was a volunteer at Craig Hospital before joining the Foundation as Development Assistant. She transitioned into the Development and Research Analyst role in March 2014. She has over 25 years of experience as a medical malpractice and personal injury paralegal. Before coming to Craig Hospital, Nancy was the Development Program Manager for the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses Foundation (AORN) working on fundraising and events.

Olivia M. Thompson, currently retired, has held a number of positions in various organizations in finance, strategic planning, information technology, and project management. Most recently, from 2008 to 2018, Olivia served as Chief Financial Officer with AlloSource, a Colorado-based non-profit dedicated to advancing the science and use of transplantable allogenic cells and tissues in regenerative therapies. Prior to AlloSource, Olivia was with Coors Brewing Company, where she held various positions including Vice President, Corporate Controller. Olivia has held several positions with various Fortune 500 companies including Kraft Foods and Allied Signal Inc. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting and an MS in Public Administration, and a Bachelors degree in Sociology from UCLA. Olivia has served on numerous boards during her career including the United Way (Chicago), Urban League (Denver), and as Board Chair for LABS Inc. (wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary of AlloSource). Ron Levine brings 30 years of experience to his practice in corporate finance, private equity and merger and acquisition transactions. His practice focuses on public and private M&A transactions, private equity and venture investment, securities and capital markets, shareholder activism, and corporate governance matters.

In this role, Ryan is responsible for leading overall growth across Colorado with a special focus on the Denver Metro area, as well as overseeing all aspects of Corporate Banking in the region. Ryan previously served as the chief operating officer of PNC's Corporate and Commercial Banking groups. Prior to his COO role, Ryan led Corporate Banking for PNC's Florida East region. Sara joined Craig Hospital Foundation in September 2017 as the Event & Communications Specialist. Originally from Southern California, she is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and brings 7 years of experience in event coordination and graphic design in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining the Craig Foundation, Bruzgo was Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Bruzgo was founder and principal of Community Investment Advisors, a national corporate social responsibility and nonprofit consulting firm and previously held progressive leadership roles at the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Association. During her tenure at Mines, she expanded global alumni engagement programs, grew the organization's endowment and membership revenue, served on the President's Cabinet, and cofounded the Colorado School of Mines Leadership Summit. She also led successful capital and endowment campaigns, major gift solicitations, and marketing and digital engagement efforts for the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates and Avila University.

Stacy Abel, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is the Vice President of People and Culture. Stacy joined the Craig leadership team in 2009 and has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare Human Resources. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR workflow development, training and development, and benefits administration all of which enable Craig Hospital to recruit and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. Sydney started working for the Craig Hospital Foundation in July of 2019. As the Philanthropy Specialist she is support for planned giving as well as helping with stewardship of donors. She was a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a double major in nutrition and human services. Teresa Van De Bogart is a proven and respected leader in a global fortune 500 CPG company. Toby Huston, Ph.D. is the Director of Psychology. He joined Craig Hospital in 2002 and spent 13 years as a team Rehabilitation Psychologist in the spinal cord injury program before assuming his current leadership position in 2015. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Colorado State University in 1988 and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in 1997. Toby has worked in the field of Rehabilitation Psychology for 20 years and was an Assistant Professor in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado prior to coming to Craig Hospital. He has been involved in numerous research projects in the field of rehabilitation and has presented and published on topics of Rehabilitation Psychology, spinal cord injury, and quality of life. Toby is actively involved in a number of professional organizations including Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) of the American Psychological Association and the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals, where he has served as the president of the Psychology, Social Work, and Counselor section and is a member of the organization's governance board of directors. Todd Munson is EVP and Director of Commercial Banking for Vectra Bank of Colorado, an affiliate of Zions Bancorp. Prior to joining Vectra Bank, Todd was the Colorado Market Manager for Chase. Todd oversees the public affairs and market-based business for the company's 1,500 employees and nearly 1.2 million customers. Todd's affiliation with Chase dates back to 1996, when he joined predecessor organization Bank One as a senior commercial banker in Louisville, Kentucky. He has served in increasingly responsible roles including three years as President of the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio Region and two years as Market President of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Tom Carr is the Director of Therapeutic Recreation and joined Craig in 2012. Previous to Craig, Tom was the director of athletics and the director of the U.S. Paralympic New England regional program at Northeast Passage, a privately funded program of the University of New Hampshire offering recreational opportunities to individuals with disabilities. His experience also includes his work as coordinator of adaptive skiing at Mount Snow Resort, therapeutic recreation instructor at the University of New Hampshire, and member of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness for the State of New Hampshire.

Wendy Quanon gains her passion for philanthropy through her alma mater, Berea College. Berea is a non-profit private college that provides every student with a tuition-free scholarship promise. This is possible through their endowment and annual funds that are given to the college from donors all over the country. Wendy has experience through participating in the college's biannual Phonathon in which students would contact alumni, family, and friends of the college to solicit funds for future and current students. Her experience with non-profit organizations will tremendously help in her goal of creating an orphanage and medical center for abandoned youth in her home country of Liberia.
She joined the Craig Foundation in June of 2022 and is looking forward to sharing new experiences, outlooks, and culture within the team
William "Bill" Scelza, MD, joined the CNS Medical Group and Craig Hospital in 2011 and is the Medical Director of Craig Hospital. He has also served as the Craig Hospital Outpatient Department Medical Director. Dr. Scelza is also Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and as the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Medicine Fellowship Program Director at Craig Hospital/University of Colorado.
Prior to joining CNS Medical Group, Dr. Scelza was Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, N.C.
Dr. Scelza completed his medical training at Case Western University in 1998. He then went on to his residency training in PM&R at the University of Michigan followed by a Fellowship in SCI Medicine at the Kessler Institute in 2002-2003. He holds board certifications in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and remains active with numerous professional organizations within those fields.
Dr. Scelza has a wealth of personal and professional spinal cord injury experience, having lived with paraplegia since 1988. He is active with his family, recreation, and aging with spinal cord injury and disability advocacy.
