The British Mindfulness Academy was founded by Carmel Farnan, BSc (Hons) Psychology, Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Trainer who has designed and presented Mindfulness Training Courses internationally since 1999. Prior to founding the British Mindfulness Academy Carmel was the co-founder of national Mindfulness organisations in Ireland, Britain, United Arab Emirates and Canada. Carmel is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS)... Each course at The British Mindfulness Academy is designed and delivered to the highest ethical standards and observes the UK Mindfulness Teachers Good Practice Guidance for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses, along with other ethical guidelines... Since 1999 the British Mindfulness Academy has provided Mindfulness Training Courses to Individuals, Health Professionals, School Staff and Corporate Clients.
