CAT SKELLINGTON

Cat Skellington is an acoustic swing band based on the Isle of Wight. Influenced mostly by the great French gypsy guitar player Django Reinhardt the music we play is largely from the swing era of the 1920s - 30s. It is a style of music with an irresistible beat and a boundless energy known to induce toe tapping of extreme vivacity. The typical line up of the band is a quartet with double bass, rhythm and lead guitars and clarinet/vocals... Cat Skellington is a gypsy jazz band on the Isle of Wight available for weddings, events, parties and gigs. A jazz quartet playing the music of Django Reinhardt from the 1930s.
