After completing her Diploma in Adult Nursing in 2004, Claire embarked upon a career as a Registered General Nurse, acquiring experience in a range of specialist departments including a gastrointestinal high dependency unit and a minor surgery unit, as well as working in the community and end of life palliative care. In 2012, Claire trained as a breastfeeding peer support worker and the following year, she set up her own business, ‘Entrusted Mama', after completing her IPEN training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. Claire has always had a strong belief in the power of natural and alternative medicine, and it is one of her visions to help new mothers have a happy and enjoyable post-natal period.
