Gene Tempesta

Gene Tempesta is an entrepreneur, business consultant and attorney, focusing in the areas of: Corporate, Contract, E-commerce and Estate Planning Law, along with successfully counseling businesses in Strategic Business Planning, Marketing, Franchising and Real Estate. Previously, Gene served as Counsel with the Pennsylvania Governor's Office of Inspector General, where he advised, counseled, and investigated state government fraud, waste and abuse. While in private practice, Gene was a Visiting Professor at Duquesne University and other Universities from 2001-2013 and taught over 100 courses in both the graduate and undergraduate areas of Management, Marketing, Finance, Law, Ethics, Planning and Economics. Prior to that, Gene was with two of Pittsburgh's larger law firms in the Business Law Section, where he was editor of the e-commerce legal handbook and was a Pennsylvania Bar Faculty. Gene also served as a Federal Judge Law Clerk, where he wrote judicial opinions on issues, including employment law, contract law, securities law, federal tax law, Freedom of Information, civil rights law, international law and transportation law as well as various other federal and state laws. Gene is also a published author on E-Commerce. Before becoming a lawyer Gene was promoted seven (7) times in a fifteen-year executive career with Rockwell International, a Fortune 25 Company, most recently as Manager of International Marketing and Manager of Financial Planning in various locations throughout the United States. His Rockwell experience included marketing, financial and strategic business planning, purchasing, auditing, as well as negotiating on behalf of Rockwell on many things such as NAFTA as well as with Boeing and Northrop in major defense and commercial contracts, some of which involved tens of millions of dollars on varied products, including NASA's Space Shuttle, the GPS and the USAF B-1 Bomber. His Rockwell work includes places such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, London, Paris, Riyadh, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Washington.
