Doug DePriest

Doug DePriest is a former cable executive and an award-winning creator of content. As an executive for Discovery's Travel Channel, DePriest led the network's production and development teams, grew the channel's distribution from 16 million to over 70 million homes, and commissioned thousands of hours of original programming for air in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America. DePriest left network life to found Big Fish Entertainment (BFE), named a Top 100 Non-Fiction media company in the world by Real Screen. During his tenure at BFE, DePriest developed and produced a wide variety of programs for cable networks such as Discovery, National Geographic, A&E, VH1, and TLC including Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan and DC Cupcakes. While at BFE, DePriest was also the executive producer of Reality PD, a groundbreaking short form documentary series of 150 ten-minute pieces produced in conjunction with the Gates Foundation and DC Public Schools. Blending documentary and reality formats, DePriest developed engaging video episodes about effective teaching practices in grades K through 12. This project further peaked his interest in education and social action films prompting DePriest to ultimately sell his share of Big Fish to his junior partner and join CWK as an equity partner to help expand the media division.

Dutch Bickley

Dutch Bickley is Chief Media Officer with the Connect With Kids team. With over thirty years of professional film, video, and web experience, Dutch thrives in CWK's creative and innovative work environment. He brings a deep, practical understanding of media creation, people and project management, broadcast IT, post-production, and web and graphics production. Additionally, he provides extensive knowledge of ENG and studio videography, and all aspects of production and production management. His experience spans Clio Award-winning television commercials, extensive corporate video production, and managing the production staff at CWK during several of its Emmy-winning years. He holds a B.A. in Film from Columbia College, Chicago, is happily married, and is the father of three inspiring adult daughters, and three spoiled grandchildren.

Gary "Sam" DeWitt - CFO

Sam DeWitt oversees day-to-day operations and financial responsibilities at CWK. DeWitt is a successful, serial entrepreneur and businessman with a background in management and finance. Prior to co-founding CWK, DeWitt was the co-owner and co-founder of Brent and Sam's cookies, a gourmet food company that he started in his kitchen with his best friend and college roommate. DeWitt ran day-to-day operations of Brent and Sam's for over a decade building an enterprise that reached national and international distribution. Following the successful development of that business, he co-founded CWK with his wife Stacey. Brent and Sam's Cookies is still an ongoing enterprise and is now owned by Shearer Foods. Even today, it is not uncommon to see Sam tasting and testing Brent and Sam's cookies in specialty stores and deli's around New York City.

Stacey DeWitt - CEO

Stacey DeWitt is an attorney and award winning journalist. During her legal career, DeWitt served as a deputy prosecutor working with disadvantaged children through the juvenile courts and family service agencies, where she developed a passion for helping educate families and communities about life changing issues. Prior to her legal career, DeWitt was a television anchor, producer and reporter for ABC, NBC, and PBS affiliates. As a broadcast journalist, she developed a deep understanding of the emotional power of storytelling through video and its impact on behavioral change. DeWitt has produced more than 65 documentaries. In 2004, she was honored by Women in Film/Atlanta and received the distinguished Outstanding Achievement Award. As a producer and executive producer, she has won more than 40 awards for her work, including Emmy® Awards, Parents' Choice Awards, AiMe, Telly, Prism and Associated Press Awards. DeWitt is also a sought after speaker and educational trainer, providing professional development on student behavior and parent involvement throughout the nation and speaking to parent groups across the country. She also appears regularly as a parenting expert on WXIA television, the NBC affiliate in Atlanta, and reaches local communities with half hour programs on television and parenting segments broadcast on CBS This Morning, The Doctors, Dr. Phil, CNN, and local television stations.

Tammie Workman

Tammie Workman is a life-long educator who has been a teacher, principal, and Assistant Superintendent in suburban, small urban, and large urban school districts in diverse areas of our country. As part of her work, she implemented social emotional learning (SEL) at both the school and district-wide level, expanded innovative mental health partnerships, school-based health clinics, and supports for families experiencing homelessness. Workman has directly supervised broad systems improvements in special education, discipline, behavior, and other areas that led to more equitable approaches and outcomes for children and families. Over the course of her career, Workman has been a steering committee member of The City of Austin's Any Given Child creative teaching initiative, Atlanta Public School's Comprehensive School Safety Initiative, the Annie E. Casey Changing the Odds education achievement partner network, and was a fellow for The Southern Education Foundation's Racial Equity Leadership Network (RELN). Currently, Tammie serves as a trustee for the Ausherman Family Foundation, is a member of the Trauma Responsive Frederick task force, as well as an advisory member for The Phoenix Recovery Academy, Maryland's only recovery high school. Additionally, she is an advisor and consulting producer for the documentary series, Defining US.
