I am an accredited and registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical code for good practice. I trained for 4 years in the psychodynamic model of therapy however I believe my approach to be Person Centered in style. This means that whilst unconscious processes underpin and inform my work I acknowledge my clients as unique people with their own inner resources... I would describe myself as an Integrative Counsellor as over the years of working and additional training I have undertaken I have acquired an eclectic mix of tools and techniques that I can adapt to meet your individual needs.
