Becky Dade

Job Titles:
  • Family Nurse Practitioner
Ms. Dade is a family nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator. She is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center and the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators. Born and raised in East Tennessee, Ms. Dade earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University. She moved back to East Tennessee in 2015 after working as a nurse practitioner, certified diabetes educator in a busy endocrinology office near Atlanta, Georgia.

Carrie Wallace

Carrie is a life-long resident of East Tennessee. Her higher education started at Hiwassee College. She transferred to East Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After graduating from ETSU, her nursing career began at Park West Medical Center in the Critical Care Unit. Carrie worked at Park West for almost nine years before graduating from the University of Tennessee as an Advanced Practice Nurse in 2011. She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been employed with Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee since March 2012. In Carrie's time away from work, she enjoys all East Tennessee has to offer by watching UT sports, boating on the rivers and lakes, shoe shopping.

Casey Page

Dr. Page is a small-town boy, hailing from the "Show Me" state of Missouri. He conducted his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating with a BA in Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa during his tenure there. He matriculated at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and from there went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia Health Sciences Center. During his three years in that program, he was awarded the "Outstanding Resident" award as well as the "Outstanding Database" award. He then completed an Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellowship at Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Having completed his Endocrinology Fellowship, The beautiful Volunteer State beckoned, and Dr. Page joined this practice in 1990. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Diabetes Association, and is a Charter Member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer and local State Representative for the Tennessee Chapter of AACE. His interests in Endocrinology are diverse, but include a strong commitment to diabetes, endocrine tumors, and androgenic disorders. He also lectures locally and nationally, and is Clinical Consultant for several pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Page enjoys a number of recreational pursuits, especially tennis, racquetball, aerobics, water sports, and has a great love and interest in music. He is a member of the Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir of the First United Methodist Church where he has been a member since coming to Knoxville. Dr. Page thrives in East Tennessee with its friendly residents and natural beauty.

Dan McCammon

Dr. McCammon graduated from UT Knoxville and then attended UT Medical School in Memphis, followed by a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He continued at Vanderbilt University for three additional years of training in Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Endocrine Society, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Dr. McCammon also serves as the Medical Director of the practice's medical laboratory. Dr. McCammon and his wife, Libby, are native Knoxvillians fortunate to have returned to the area to enjoy family, time at the lake and mountains, UT sports and tennis.

Dr. Amit Vora

Dr. Amit Vora joined ECET in March 2008. He did some of his early schooling in New York where his father taught medicine at New York Medical College. Their family moved back to India and after a few years, he returned to the US to do his training in Internal Medicine at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago where he was bestowed the humanitarian award for two years in a row. This was followed by fellowship training in Endocrinology at Penn State University. Dr. Vora has lectured locally and nationally on diabetes care and is actively involved in the American Diabetes Association as the current President of its volunteer board. Dr. Vora is a member of several professional organizations including AACE and the Endocrine Society. His wife, Dr. Bhavana Vora is a family practitioner, who trained at UT in Knoxville. They have been in the Knoxville area for about 10 years and have 2 daughters Anusha and Aashi. In his spare time Dr. Vora enjoys playing racquetball, hiking and camping in the Smokies and traveling.

Dr. John B. Williams

Dr. John B. Williams, was born in Toledo, Ohio, but spent his formative years in Oklahoma. After graduation from the University of Central Oklahoma, he began his medical studies at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School where his interests in biomedical research led to graduation with both the M.D. degree and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. Continuing these career interests, he trained in Internal Medicine, and Endocrinology and Diabetes and Metabolism at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. While at Johns Hopkins, he simultaneously completed a Fellowship in molecular genetics in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute where he was a recipient of a prestigious Fellowship for Physicians. Prior to arriving in Knoxville, he was on the Faculty of the Departments of Medicine and Biochemistry at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and was a Staff Physician at Veterans Affairs Medical Center-Nashville. He has published papers in biomedical journals describing his research in biochemistry. He is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Thyroid Association.

Jennifer Goins

Jennifer Goins is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University. Jennifer worked as a nurse for 22 years before becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Since that time, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner with the University of Tennessee Hospitalist at UT Medical Center.

Kelli Tidwell

Ms. Tidwell is a family nurse practitioner. She attended graduate school at the University of Tennessee where she was trained as a family nurse practitioner and received her master's degree. Kelli is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She received her bachelor's degree from the Indiana University where she majored in Business. She also studied at the University of Limburg in the Netherlands. Kelli and her husband enjoy whitewater activities such as kayaking and rafting.

Mr. Michael Wiseman

Mr. Michael Wiseman is a Family Nurse Practitioner who attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He received his bachelor degree in Nursing at Western Carolina University in Western North Carolina,where he was a resident for 25 years before moving to Eastern Tennessee. He spent ten years working with a Nephrology group and also working with the Cherokee Indian Reservation with their Diabetes program. He is also an active member of the American Diabetes Association planning committee. In Mike's spare time he enjoys most outdoors activities such as fishing, snowboarding and playing golf. He also enjoys his time with his two boys and close friends.

Mrs. Brittany Simpson

Mrs. Brittany Simpson is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carson Newman University in 2010 and worked as an RN in trauma/surgical ICU at the University of Tennessee Medical Center for 5 years, before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University in 2015. She was a member of the Graduate Honor Society. She worked in family practice in Seymour, TN for 6 years prior to joining ECET. Brittany has a personal history of Type 1 Diabetes and hopes to be a positive influence for others living with this disease. Brittany is a life-long resident of East Tennessee. She is married and has 3 fur babies. She still lives on a portion of her family's farm.

Mrs. Jennifer Skero

Mrs. Jennifer Skero is a board-certified Family Practitioner and certified diabetes educator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron in 1996. She enjoyed 15 years with Endocrine Associates, Inc as a RN, CDE in Akron, Ohio before moving to Lubbock, Texas. In Lubbock Texas, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and holds a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She practiced with a Lubbock endocrinologist for 11 years. In June 2021, she joined the Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee team to be closer to her family in Ohio. She has a passion for health education and treatment of various endocrine diseases, metabolic disorders, thyroid conditions and diabetes. She has been committed to delivering care in a kind, curious, and caring patient-centered environment. She enjoys spending time with her husband who has been committed to patient care as a nurse for 25 years. She has four children: Shelby, Benjamin, Frank and Jacob. She loves spending time with her four-legged friends, her Golden retriever, Lady and her cat Marty.

Mrs. Tracy Moseman

Mrs. Tracy Moseman is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in 2010. She worked as an RN in the Surgery/Trauma at St. Vincent Hospital and Pediatric Oncology at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis for eight years before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Indianapolis in 2018. Before joining ECET, Tracy has worked a Primary Care Provider and most recently as an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner with specialization in diabetes management at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana prior to moving to Knoxville. Tracy is a Hoosier by birth but, more recently, a Volunteer by choice. She is married and has 1 fur baby, a Bernedoodle. She enjoys traveling, reading, pottery and hiking.

Ms Gina Bearden

Ms Gina Bearden is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetic Educator. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the National Board of Certified Diabetic Educators. She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters degree from Vanderbilt University. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Prior to her Nurse Practitioner degree, she was a RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Vanderbilt University Center. She has been practicing in Endocrinology since 2011, and has developed a passion for this specialty as she has several family members with Endocrine conditions. She is married and in her spare time enjoys various activities with her 3 children. She enjoys cycling, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, white water rafting, and any other outdoor activity.

Ms. Hanna Henderson

Ms. Hanna Henderson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB). For over ten years now Hanna works in the healthcare settings, hospitals and clinics. Since earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Tusculum University, which is considered the oldest institution of a higher education in the state of Tennessee, Hanna started taking care of patients with diabetes and/or hospice patients. Hanna knows how devastating diabetes can be since a few of her own family members live with this disease. Understanding the disease process is the key to getting diabetes under control. Therefore, Hanna uses her knowledge and experience to teach her patients how to make the best choices when it comes to diabetes medications, food choices, and improve patients' lifestyle in general. Hanna was born and raised in the Ukraine. However, in 2002 she made East Tennessee her home. Since then, Hanna made it her mission to become a valuable member of the local community: "Developing strong relationships and taking care of others as if they were my own family members is the foundation of everything I do." Outside of work, Hanna enjoys reading and traveling with her family.

Ms. Louisa Sawyer

Ms. Louisa Sawyer is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator. Louisa graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the Johnson City Medical Center. She then worked for 10 years at Takoma Regional Hospital in Greeneville, TN as the Diabetes Education Coordinator. In 2016 she graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Master of Science Nursing and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner in gastroenterology in Greeneville, TN before returning to work in endocrinology. ​Louisa lives in Knoxville with her family of 7. She enjoys watching and playing soccer, running, reading, and traveling.

Ms. Maggie Johnson

Ms. Maggie Johnson is a registered dietitian, diabetes educator, and certified pump/product trainer. She completed her B.S. in Dietetics at Eastern Kentucky University, in her home state, in 2016. She then moved to Knoxville, where she completed her M.S. in Public Health Nutrition and dietetic internship at the University of Tennessee. After being an intern at Endocrinology Consultants, she obtained her current position here. She worked briefly as a clinical dietitian at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, as well. Maggie has a passion for working in endocrinology due to her personal history of Type 1 Diabetes. Her childhood diabetes educator had a strong impact on her life and she desires to have the same impact on others living with the disease. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has 2 pet cats. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, doing outdoor activities and watching various TV series.

Ms. Michele Hall

She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ms. Hall was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Societies during her time at the University of Tennessee.

Ms. Nancye Schenk

Ms. Nancye Schenk is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Nancye graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1987 with a B.S. in Nutrition Science. She has worked in diabetes education for 25+ years. She received her CDE certification in 1996. Nancye works with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) as an auditor of recognized programs and has served on the ADA national education recognition committee. She has provided numerous speaking engagements on diabetes for both the community and professional organizations. She has been a program director of ADA recognized programs in both hospital and physician offices. She has worked in outpatient and inpatient education, nutrition support, and was a clinical manager for an insulin pump company.

Ms. Rebekah Harper

Ms. Rebekah Harper is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator. Rebekah graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1997 with a B.S. in Nutrition Science and then in 1999 with a M.S. in Hospitality Management. After graduating from U.T., she worked for 12 years as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at the St. Mary's Diabetes Center and the Fort Sander's Diabetes Center. In 2013, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln Memorial University with a B.S. in Nursing and two years later joined Endocrinology Consultants as a Diabetes Educator. Rebekah graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University with a M.S. in Nursing in 2017 and shortly after became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Tom Doty

Dr. Doty was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Brentwood Academy, was an Eagle Scout, and attended the World Jamboree in Norway. He graduated from the University of the South at Sewanee, Tennessee, and the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. Internship, Residency, and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine were completed in Charleston, South Carolina. He stayed in Charleston for a three year Endocrinology Fellowship. Research interests there focused on the insulin receptor. Dr. Doty is a member of the American Medical Association, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He is on the Active Staff of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and University Medical Center. Dr. Doty is married and has three children, Walt, Beth, and John. The family has restored an older home in Knoxville, in which they now live. The Dotys enjoy outdoor sports, camping, hiking, cooking, and gardening, and are active in church work.
