EMMY VOTING

Each of the nearly 20,000 members of the Television Academy belongs to a Peer Group that represents their professional specialty. There are 31 of these Peer Groups... The Governors select a Peer Group Executive Committee (PGEC) from members of the Peer Group to consider matters of interest to the Peer Group and advise the Governors... The Executive Committee is comprised of five elected Officers (Chair and CEO, Vice Chair, Second Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer), plus six Chair Appointees, four Governors' Appointees, and the Chair of the Television Academy Foundation.
