Dr. Hassan Qandil

Dr. Hassan Qandil is a clinical assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Texas. He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from the University of North Texas, an M.Sc. in Engineering/Energy Management from the University of Jordan, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan. Before joining UNT, he was a maintenance engineer and wireline field engineer for international oilfield corporations across Jordan, Malaysia, Germany, the UAE, and India. Dr. Hassan has years of hands-on experience in the fields of thermal management, mechanical and thermal modeling and optimization, energy management and sustainability, thermodynamics and heat transfer, CFD and fluid mechanics, algorithmic design and machine learning, and renewable energy. Dr. Hassan was responsible for maintenance and drilling in several noteworthy projects, including the Disi Water Conveyance Project in Jordan ($1.1 billion USD) and drilling in the Ravva oil fields in India ($100 million USD).

Ethan McClenney

Ethan is a computer and data science senior student at Indiana State University. He initially started with EOS as a data administrator on multiple energy services. The quick learner he is, he was able to grasp many of the technical aspects of our services and was able to expand his responsibilities to become a project coordinator. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and social activities.

Fares Sweidan

Fares holds a Master's Degree of Science in Architecture and has 7+ years' experience in designing large projects with a focus on sustainability.

Mo Qatouni

Mo Qatouni, CEM®, CEA®, CMVP®, has a cumulative 15 years' experience industrial facilities, with nearly 9 years of experience in both Energy Management and Solar PV, design, installation and T&C , construction and building operations. He has conducted and lead teams with more than 200 ASHRAE Level II Audits, in commercial, industrial, domestic, hospitality and wholesale businesses. Qatouni is a part of a 5-member family, with his wife and three kids, he enjoys swimming, roller-blade skating , and has a (I DAN) Black belt in Taekwondo which he got during the COVID-19 Crisis (Late 2020)as a part of his continues self-development journey.

Mo Shaheen

Mo Shaheen has over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering and holds a bachelor's degree in this field. Shaheen is an expert in energy auditing, electrical engineering design, project management, project tender preparation, electrical systems cost estimation, and BIM modeling. His long list of credentials includes CEM, LEED Green Associate, ISO 9001 Auditor, and more. Shaheen's project experience spans across multiple counties and sectors with a focus on hospitality and pharmaceuticals. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, hiking, and watching movies.

Sal Alhelo

Sal Alhelo, PE, LEED AP (BD+C), the founder of EOS Labs, has nearly 17 years of experience in energy management, engineering, construction and building operations. He has significantly contributed to the design of multi-billion-dollar hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, as well as several healthcare facilities in Texas, and managed facilities programs for a Fortune 500 company for more than six years. As a result, Alhelo is uniquely positioned to provide building facility managers with the valuable financial insights they need to optimize energy usage and increase savings. Alhelo served as Chair of the Connex Technology Council for the advancement of the multi-site FM industry and has authored multiple articles for Smart Energy Decisions on the subject of energy management and efficiency maintenance. He is also a frequent speaker at national energy management conferences and meetings, including Connex FM, the U.S. Department of Energy Better Building Summit, the Edison Electric Institute, and the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the National Institute for Building Sciences (NIBS). Alhelo holds a B.Sc. in mechanical and energy sciences, an MBA with a minor in data analytics, and is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states. Additionally, he is an accredited professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (building, design and construction). Sal Alhelo resides in McKinney, Texas, with his wife, Raina, and their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and traveling, and is currently volunteering for a community development program through his church.

Sean Andrews

Sean Andrews is a seasoned energy executive with over 15 years of experience leading successful energy trading and risk management teams, as well as implementing renewable energy development and energy efficiency projects. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Ammper Power, a retail electricity provider in Texas providing access to renewable energy and asset management for commercial and industrial customers of all sizes. He has been a voting member of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). He has both a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Science in Finance from the University of Houston. Sean is a member of The Energy Professionals Association technology committee and has the pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star group for Greater Houston.

Stephanie Moon

Stephanie Moon has been focused on bringing creative solutions to the Facilities Management (FM) industry for decades. Through her extensive corporate experience, her construction management/facilities management outsourcing firm, and her active participation in professional associations, Stephanie has helped businesses leverage internal talent, circumvent unnecessary spending, and increase operational capabilities. Stephanie is a respected member of the AEC&FM community, having participated in diverse organizations over the years. In addition to her current membership in the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) Consultative Council, she has been active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Restaurant Facility Management Association (RFMA), International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), and the Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF).
