Alexander Keros

Transportation today is the focal point of a lot of challenges, from congestion to emissions, and there is no blueprint solution… yet. Alex Keros is leading the charge at Maven, GM's urban mobility brand, in re-imagining the processes and policies needed to make future mobility solutions work. His "get-it-done, step-by-step" approach allows him to see simple, incremental solutions building into sustainable infrastructure for new mobility experiences. To do this, Mr. Keros works hand-in-hand with various stakeholders, including utilities, regulators, and local officials, to help people move more freely and easily within their home cities. His ultimate goal is to provide answers to issues like economic development and public safety through efficient transportation. Mr. Keros joined GM in 2007 and has worked across various teams to create frameworks around new innovative eco-friendly products-Chevy Bolt and GM's Hydrogen Fuel Cell Equinox-so the consumers will have the best experience. His unique skill in balancing energy policy, environmental engineering, and business strategy has given him an innovative toolbox to tap into to electrify mobility. While at GM, Mr. Keros has served as a Commissioner in Massachusetts' Zero Emission Vehicle Commission and for the Maryland Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Council, acting as the principal author for the California Fuel Cell Partnership's Hydrogen Roadmap and works with students at the University of Michigan's Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise. Mr. Keros began his career in environmental consulting, where he managed the assessment and remediation of hazardous waste sites for Fortune 500companies. He has extensive experience in environmental policy design and implementation. Mr. Keros also grew up learning the ropes in his family-owned restaurant, the American Coney Island. Founded in 1917, the restaurant is widely recognized as inventing the tradition of Detroit's chilidog. Mr. Keros earned a B.S. in Natural Resource Management and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Emmett Romine

Before joining Xcel Energy in 2019 Emmett previously held a leadership role at Powerley, a technology company that provides utilities with solutions aimed at bridging the smart grid to the smart home. He has 20 years of utility industry experience with 13 years at DTE Energy working in areas including distribution operations, continuous improvement, finance, and energy efficiency. Emmett holds a master's degree in business from the Olin Business School at Washington University, St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University. He also attended the Executive Education Program with a focus on organic growth and innovation from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of Edison Electric Institutes Customer Solutions Executive Advisory Committee, serves on the Downtown Denver Economic Development Council, is a member of the board of the Alliance for Transportation Electrification and is a member of the board of Mi Casa Resource Center in Denver.

Hank Adams

Hank Adams serves as senior vice president of customer solutions and corporate development for Southern Company. In this role, he is responsible for delivering growth, customer solutions and system collaboration across all Southern Company's gas and electric subsidiaries. He oversees national accounts and federal energy services and partnerships teams that manage Southern Company's national corporate energy users and federal government customers. He also leads the planning and regulatory support team that develops Southern Company's forecasted energy demand and, specifically, the New Ventures organization that manages the company's founding investment in Energy Impact Partners, a $3 billion utility-backed venture capital fund dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. Before his current role, Adams served as vice president of origination and acquisitions for Southern Power. In this role, he led business development efforts including acquisitions for 2+ GW of renewable assets totaling $3B+ in capex and recontacting of 2.5 GWs of natural gas assets. Prior to Southern Power, Adams served in various external affairs roles at Georgia Power including area manager, external affairs manager and assistant to the executive vice president of external affairs and nuclear development. Adams currently serves on the board for Alliance for Transportation Electrification and is a former board member of the California Energy Storage Association. In the community, he has been involved in serving on several committees and boards including Boys and Girls Club of Central Alabama and Rome/Floyd County Communities in Schools. Adams earned his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and MBA from Auburn University. He and his wife, Ashley, reside in Birmingham with their two children, Henry, and Hines.

James P. Laurito

James P. Laurito is Executive Vice President, Business Development, and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Laurito served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation, the Corporation's first U.S. subsidiary. He joined Central Hudson in January 2010 as President of the Utility. Louis Tremblay

A trailblazer in the field of electric mobility in Canada, Louis Tremblay co-founded FLO in 2009 while he was still a student at Laval University (Quebec). Over the years, he's established himself as an influential and respected figure in the electric vehicle (EV) industry as he guides his company to become a leader in EV charging solutions and the operator of a major North American charging network. His entrepreneurial passion has led him to chair the boards of Propulsion Québec, Quebec's Industrial Cluster for Electric and Smart Transportation, and of Inno-centre. He's now on the board of directors for North America's Alliance for Transportation Electrification. Louis graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and pursued graduate-level studies in Power Electronics.

He also chaired the Executive Committee for National Grid's U.K. System Operator function (covering both electricity and gas) for Great Britain. Mr. Jones currently serves as Executive Director of the Alliance for Transportation Electrification (ATE), a recently established industry-funded non-profit association that seeks to promote the acceleration of transportation electrification deployments, a robust utility role, and interoperability and open standards. He also serves as a Board Advisor to Energy Impact Partners (EIP), based in New York City, a private equity infrastructure fund comprised of major utility investors seeking to invest in innovative young technology companies focused on the energy sector. He also serves on the non-profit Boards of Directors of Climate Solutions. He currently services on the Advisory Council of EPRI, which is the lead R&D organization's public-interest voice for the international electric power industry consisting of current NARUC Commissioners, academics, vendors, and industry experts. Commissioner Jones served on the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) from March 2005 to March 2017 for a total of twelve years or two six-year terms. Originally appointed by Governor Chris Gregoire and confirmed unanimously by the state Senate for his original term, he was re-appointed by the same Governor in January 2011 for an additional term. Mr. Jones served in many advisory roles in the energy and communications sectors during his tenure. He was active nationally with the FERC, U.S. Department of Energy, DHS, and the FCC. In the communications field, Mr. Jones served on the North American Numbering Council (NANC) and the Task Force on Optimal PSAP Architecture (TFOPA) of the FCC regarding NG 911 system deployment. He also founded and operated an independent consulting business based in Seattle from 1991 to 1997, where he specialized in offering advice and consulting services in energy policy and international trade issues. From 1983 to1989, Mr. Jones served as a senior legislative assistant to former Senator Daniel J. Sean began his career in the management training program in 1992. His 31 years with the company reflect continual advancement, marked by consistent achievements across leisure, travel and tourism business operations. Sean has a decade's worth of experience evaluating environmental risks in the car rental and airport industries. Sean's tenure with the world's largest provider of mobility solutions gives him unique and innovative expertise in mobility framework, strategy implementation and market analysis. His knowledge of electrification infrastructure and systems was gleaned through his management of yearly active construction projects between $70-120 million, a lease portfolio of $6 billion and $15 million in annual acquisition investments. His experience managing multi-million-dollar construction and facilities projects lends him keen knowledge of electrification infrastructure. Sean currently serves as commissioner for St. Louis Lambert International Airport and as director and board member for the Airport Minority Advisory Council Foundation. In 2016 he was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation to serve as a committee member of the National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure. Sean earned a degree in business from Skidmore College in New York. He resides in St. Louis with his wife Christine.
