Cade Cowan - CEO

Cade Cowan has worked around the globe with some of the world's leading companies. His work in leadership development and organizational capability building has exposed him to leaders, entrepreneurs, academics and others in over 30 countries on five continents. Cade is noted by his clients for his energy and his creativity in the design and delivery of unique learning experiences that allow leaders to approach their organization's challenges in new ways. Additionally, his experience in coaching senior-most leaders provides him insight to the complexity of leadership in today's ambiguous environment. Cade has worked with leaders from Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Walmart, Thomson Reuters, Glaxo SmithKline, Aetna, Lookout, AbbVie, PayPal, Cox Communications, Five Below, Johnson & Johnson, Sprint, and Western Digital. Along with David Dotlich and Peter Cairo, Cade coauthored The Unfinished Leader: Balancing Contradictory Answers to Unsolvable Problems, published by Jossey-Bass in 2014. Prior to entering consulting, Cade served as Director, Coca-Cola University, Bottling Investments Group (BIG), where he directed all global learning and development initiatives for the company's wholly owned bottlers, an organization of 85,000 global associates. Though focused primarily on building BIG's leadership development capability, he also worked with BIG's respective bottler organizations to apply relevant training programs from Coca-Cola University's commercial and supply chain curricula. While in this role, he completed short-term assignments with bottlers in both the Philippines and India. Cade initially joined Coca-Cola in 2003 as a program manager responsible for a global leadership development program targeting the company's middle managers. He later assumed responsibility for the global development of frontline leaders. In 2007, he was promoted to Director, Coca-Cola University, Global Leadership Development, responsible for the entire suite of the company's leadership development offerings.

Chris Leupold

Chris brings over twenty-five years of consulting experience in both internal and external roles. An Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with expertise across a range of leadership and organization development areas, he provides clients with tailored solutions in the areas of executive assessment, individual coaching, succession planning, team optimization, and performance management and training systems. In all of his projects, Chris employs a scientist-practitioner model by which the interventions he provides are grounded in data-driven analyses to ensure maximum impact for individual clients and their organizations. Christine Linder

Prior to joining EDC, she founded Free Radical Collective, a boutique creative agency where she worked with leading brands to develop marketing collateral, learning materials, presentations, and visual communication assets. Her recent client work includes projects for Adidas, Cisco, Docker, Microsoft, Nike, Salesforce, Service Now, Jobvite, and Johnson & Johnson as well as several local government agencies.

Dr. Lucy Dahl

Dr. Stacey Philpot - CEO

For over twenty years, Dr. Stacey Philpot has advised some of the world's most admired companies on how to use leadership development to accelerate growth and increase their competitive advantage. Her work has helped companies such as Apple, Bristol Myers Squibb, Ernst & Young, Exelon, General Mills, Harley Davidson, Johnson & Johnson, JPMorgan Chase, Mass Mutual, Nike, PayPal, and Time Warner more effectively navigate disruption, lead large transformations, and inspire culture change. Stacey has personally coached CEOs of Fortune 500 companies on how to develop their executive committees, manage complex board dynamics and prepare their successors. Her work as a coach combines her practice as a licensed psychologist and her own experience as an executive. Previously, Stacey was the head of Deloitte's Leadership practice where she guided the firm's work with clients on matters of succession, talent assessment, leadership development, and inclusion. While there she increased revenue for her practice over 250% and tripled the size of her organization in under three years. Prior to Deloitte, Stacey worked as Managing Partner for a high growth boutique consultancy where she was responsible for setting the firm's strategy and market positioning. Stacey is a regular speaker at conferences and executive retreats on how companies can navigate the political aspects of succession planning and more accurately identify high performing leaders to improve inclusion. She is the author of several articles, including: "A Data-Driven Approach to Identifying Future Leaders" (MIT Sloan Management Review), "Transition Support Best Practices" (The Pfeiffer Annual Leadership Development series), and "Transforming Teams: A Personal and Team Development Approach" (Developing High-Performance Work Teams). She has a reputation of streamlining operations, building global processes, and successfully executing large scale and multi-million-dollar programs and events. She has the keen ability to scan the environment, collect relevant data and provide useful and clear interpretation of complex issues. She has been successful in managing client relationships and establishing an excellent rapport with individuals on all levels of the organization. Kesha has a Bachelor of Science from Guilford College. She currently resides in North Carolina, where she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Kiana King

Kiana King is a 1st year graduate student in the M.A./Ph.D. program of Industrial Organizational Psychology at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She desires to specialize in leadership development and workplace Diversity and inclusion efforts and seeks to promote more equitable, non-discriminatory practices in hiring and workplace environments. Kiana is currently interning at EDC on client projects related to competency modeling, executive assessment and coaching. Kiana was formerly an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri (MU), where she was involved with various organizations and businesses. She was the most recent President of the Legion of Black Collegians Gospel Choir on MU's campus and an esteemed McNair Scholar. Her research was featured in the 2019 edition of the MU McNair Journal and selected for presentation at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association conference. Kiana gained great leadership experience at MU and her undergraduate efforts were noted through her McNair scholar recognition and her continuous presence on the MU dean's list. During her early years at MU, Kiana served for AmeriCorps as a member of the Jumpstart Organization promoting diversity, equity and inclusion by assisting preschool children from under resourced communities with language and literacy skills to prepare them for success in kindergarten. Kiana also served as an assistant teacher/ support staff for various childcare centers while also tutoring student athletes at the University of Missouri Athletic training center. Kiana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology and a minor in Statistics from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Her senior honors thesis focused on exploring the role of mentorship, sense of belonging and non-discriminatory campus climates on leadership self-efficacy in black women collegians, and earned her psychology department and university honors. She currently lives in Bloomington, IL.

Lindsey Hayes - COO

Lindsey has held executive Talent and HR leadership roles at ITW and IDEX Corporation, both large global B2B manufacturing companies. In these organizations, she was instrumental in human capital strategy development, design and implementation of enterprise talent management solutions, and served as a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion. As a member of the senior leadership team for an ITW division, she successfully led change management and organizational development efforts to integrate ten global locations under a shared brand and culture, accelerating business transformation and growth. In addition to her corporate roles, Lindsey was a senior consultant with Deloitte where she worked with Fortune 500 companies to design and deliver accelerated development programs, 360-degree feedback and coaching. She also worked with executive teams to help them effectively navigate disruptions and lead transformation. Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Illinois. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Chicago.
