Graneta Angus started when we purchased 30 yearling heifers from Ardrossan Angus stud in 2010. Since then, we purchased cows from: Kenny's Creek; Glenock; Carabar; Millah Murrah and Premier Angus studs. With our Angus program we are striving to breed cattle to suit the tough Queensland conditions, smooth coated, good feet & legs, strong headed, are mobile to cover long distances and highly fertile... With an extensive ET and AI programs over the last few years we believe we can provide our clients an extensive range of top genetics from leading studs in Australia and USA to align with our breeding concept. 2023 should see 350 plus Angus calves born which will give us a good number of bull calves to select from for our sale... We are commercially focussed for the real cattlemen and our genetics will suit an array of markets. Our goal is to link all segments of the breed industry to create a product with real industry value. We do this by producing cattle which have good temperament..
