Holly Cope Jacoby

Holly Cope Jacoby founded Historic Investors Advisory after a 25-year career within some of the largest U.S. financial institutions, specializing in a variety of commercial real estate related financial products. Since 2011, she specialized in Historic Tax Credit (HTC) investments for one of the larger investors in the HTC market, during which investments more than quadrupled annually. As a key player, she underwrote and originated a wide variety of commercial real estate investments from smaller multifamily projects, to complex eight-figure investments in mixed-use properties. Additionally, she revised internal procedures in light of major industry changes such as Historic Boardwalk Hall, Revenue Procedures, 50(d) Regulations, and most recently, Tax Reform. With increasing risk embedded in HTC investments from 2012 and beyond, she specialized in creating asset management tools to maximize returns on investment through the life of the investment, and led training programs for staff to implement. Prior to 2011, Holly was a commercial real estate lender for nearly twenty years with several major banks including Bank of America/LaSalle Bank and JP Morgan Chase/US Bank/First Chicago NBD. She has a Masters of Management degree from Aquinas College, and a BA Business degree from Hope College.
