In 2014 Edgar Winters received the first Oregon Issued Hemp License in 77 years. His roots in Hemp go back to the late 1950's when his grandfather use to cultivate hemp for baling twine. A Master Gardener since 2003 through the Oregon State University, he has been a big part of the grassroots movement to legalize industrial hemp and get hemp into our nation's agriculture program. He was excited to attend the first class on "The Introduction to the Botany, Biology and Agronomy of the Hemp Plant." instructed through Oregon State University. He now has MOU's with the University of Virginia, Cornell University and Louisiana State University. His lifetime of education on farming lead him to start Winterfox Farms, a genetic breeding facility and experimental station for various hemp cultivars. He's passion is to have true American strains for each farming system, whether for food, fiber or CBD's and have consistency in the finished product. He works with companies such as LPC Naturals, leading their research programs at Winterfox Farms as their lead Breeder. The consumers demand for better quality, healthier foods and the farmers need for a new sustainable agricultural option, Edgar knows this is where hemp fits both issues. He knows what consumers wants and what farmers need. What little spare time Edgar has he spends as a nationally renowned keynote speaker for hemp and on the many areas of this new industry, such as, the Best Farming Practices and Techniques, Genetic breeding including tissue cultures, viability and sustainability of the hemp plant, as well as the economic benefit. He instructs people to know the endless possibilities that comes from one single plant, including hemp roots and steam distilled hemp essential oils for aroma therapy and other medicinal uses.

Margaret Flewellen

Is the owner and chief formulator of Natural Good Medicines LLC, which started as a natural skincare products producer, specializing in hemp as a key ingredient. This has grown in to adding consulting and working with researchers to build and empower the hemp industries and the hemp economy in our nation. In addition to providing high quality products, Margaret's work focuses on ensuring there is a place for the farmer to take their crops, "After the Harvest." With over 20 yrs experience in the cannabis industry, her knowledge is vast in the area of hemp, from the seed, cultivation, harvesting and processing, all the way to the end consumer product. Every product that she creates is researched to ensure that it is the best nature has to offer.
