We here at Homecomm work on both of these computers as well as Linux based ones. Generally speaking, the Windows based are more common due to approximately 80+% of the market whilst Apple computers make up around 15% and Linux being the rest. We have many years of experience on all three variations and as the underlying hardware is more or less the same the principals of maintaining, upgrading and fixing them also remain the same... We certainly suggest that everyone backs up their data on a regular basis and have, if possible, multiple backups of that data on clearly marked external devices as well as utilising cloud based backup systems. It is said that there are two types of people in the World today, those who have lost data and those that will experience this unfortunate occurrence any time soon.
