Allison Daniels

Job Titles:

Ali has been a part of the human services field since graduating with her master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University. She later went on to obtain her license as a Behavior Specialist. Ali now oversees a variety of program services at HRC with a concentration in assisting individuals with disabilities who may be interested in employment.

Daniel Card

Job Titles:
  • Director of Human Resources Foundation
Dan is a Wayne County native and has served the local community in several capacities including as President of the Lion Club, President and Treasurer of the Wayne Economic Development Corporation, and President of the Workforce Investment Group. Dan now serves as the Executive Foundation Director for the Human Resources Foundation of NEPA.

Dawn Daignault

Job Titles:

Dawn is a City University of New York graduate with a degree in Disability Studies and a concentration in Mental/Behavioral Health. In 2003, Dawn joined the HRC team in the employment services department where she proved to be an invaluable asset. Dawn now oversees Community Integrated Employment as the Director of Career Options and Development.

Derek Bellinger

Derek resides in Honesdale with his wife of 27 years and their son, Brock, who is diagnosed as on the Autism Spectrum. Mr. Bellinger is a prominent community figurehead, having served on various influential boards: 2018 President of Pike County Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Pike County, NEPA Alliance, Wayne Pike Adult Literacy, and Pocono Workforce Alliance. Derek also volunteers as a coach for Special Olympics Area P Basketball and Golf.

Ed Kasper

Ed, a long-time Wayne County, PA resident, is a prominent and active member of his community. Mr. Kasper has paved the way in the banking industry, joining local Wayne Bank in 1986, then operating as Executive Vice President after a monumental promotion in 2011. Ed is a dedicated leader and continues to serve on the HRC Board of Directors in support of the disability community.

Jeffrey Firmstone

Jeffrey is a lifelong Honesdale, PA resident and a pillar in the local community. After 22 years serving as Business Administrator for the local Wayne Highlands School District, Mr. Firmstone devoted his newfound free time to volunteerism. In addition to serving on HRC's Board as Treasurer, Jeffrey has also served on a multitude of community boards; most recently operating as Director of the Wayne County Fair Planning Commission.

Jennifer Tomaino

Jennifer is a Lock Haven University graduate with a degree in Psychology. Prior to finding her place at HRC, she worked a variety of roles at Tri County Human Services supporting individuals with disabilities in the community. Jennifer was first welcomed to HRC as a Lifesharing Coordinator and was recently promoted to her role as Director of Incident and Quality Management.

John J. Martin - Chairman

John J Martin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from East Stroudsburg University. He then received his law degree from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. John has been a dedicated board member of HRC's board of directors for 20 + years. John currently sits on the board of the Human Resources Center as Chairman.

Kathy Highhouse

Kathy is a Honesdale, PA native and has devoted her life to serving the disability community. After three decades of teaching special education, Kathy spent her retirement supporting HRC as one of the first members of the Board of Directors, as well as co-founding a disability-centered summer camp called Dyberry Day Camp. Kathy not only serves to this day on HRC's Board, but sits as Treasurer for The ARC, as well.

Kristin Grim - CEO

Kristin got her start as a case manager at Good Shephard Work Services shortly after graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Rehabilitation Services. Joining HRC in March of 2002, Kristin quickly worked her way to her former position as the Administrator of Residential and Employment Services where she provided a wide range of supports. Now, she uses her vast industry knowledge to support HRC's growth as Assistant CEO.

Leroy Spoor

Leroy has committed his life to bettering his community in Wayne County, PA through both professional and personal channels. Mr. Spoor devoted decades to local area schools, serving as Principal to both Damascus Area School and Stourbridge Elementary of the Wayne Highlands School District. In addition to the HRC Board, Leroy devotes time to the Honesdale Area Jaycees, Lion Club, and was a founding member of Wayne County Sports Hall of Fame. Mr. Spoor was the recipient of the 2012 Ben Franklin Community Service Award.

Patty Setzer

Patty is an East Stroudsburg University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitative Services. Patty joined the team in 2005 as a program specialist in one of HRC's Vocational Training Centers, soon transferring to the Home-Based Service department. In 2014, Patty was promoted to the Director of Home-Based Services, and as services grew, she was assigned northern counties.

Rebecca Berghoefer

Rebecca graduated from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She began as an Supports Coordinator with Carbon Monroe Pike MHDS for 4 years before entering the position of Waiver Coordinator, where she remained for over 12 years. At last, Rebecca found her place with HRC in September of 2020 in her current role.

Sean Donohoe

Sean has dedicated over 25 years to the human services field and became a key asset to the HRC Community Integrated Employment program in late 2019. Now as the Director of CIE, Sean assists consumers in exploring their career options, all while continuing his education and seeking his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Human Services and Advocacy.

Tom Dirlam - CFO

Tom graduated from Wilkes University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After working in finance for 15 years, Tom joined HRC in 1994 as the Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, he is responsible for overseeing all of HRC's fiscal operations, including five direct report staff and the maintenance operations department for HRC buildings, vehicles, and agency properties. Tom has resided in Wayne County, PA for over 32 years, during which time he served the majority as an Elementary Counselor at the local Wayne Highlands School District. For 35+ years, Tom has been a dedicated member of HRC's Board of Directors. Tom still made time to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, for which he received the Habitat Golden Hammer Award in 2015.

Tracy Johannes

Job Titles:

Tracy graduated from Mansfield University with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Upon completing her education, Tracy worked closely with children and individuals with disabilities. In 2015, she joined HRC as a House Manager and was promoted four short years later to Residential Program Specialist. She now oversees all Residential Services for HRC.
