Craig R. Smith

Craig R. Smith graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1976, and from UCLA with a Masters in Urban Planning in 1978. He has been a licensed Architect in California since 1983. Craig founded CRSA Architecture in 1986. He is well known for his thoughtful designs and collaborative project delivery in a wide variety of project types. His award-winning work is prominently featured throughout California's Central Coast.

DANA HUNTER

Dana graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2011. She has over ten years of experience in guiding clients from idea through project approval and construction for a variety of product types, including custom single-family homes, small-lot residential development, laboratory testing facilities, commercial production facilities, restaurants, office, and retail. The scope of work for her projects has ranged from remodel and tenant improvement, to adaptive re-use and ground-up construction. Dana is currently the Vice President of the local AIA chapter. When she is away from the office, you will likely find Dana at the beach or in the mountains, where she enjoys skiing and fly-fishing.

LETTY LOPEZ

Letty graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2020. She brings almost a full year of experience after working for Carmen Finegan Architects in Ketchum, Idaho. After a year spent in the mountains of Idaho, Letty is excited to return to the Central Coast's mild climate and continuing a tradition of going to Farmers Market each Thursday. We look forward to supporting her professional development, and are happy to have her on our team as an Architectural Designer.

LOGAN HUNTER

Logan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Construction Management, and from Georgetown University with a M.P.S. in Real Estate, concentration in Development. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson and General Contractor in California. Logan has experience in the ground-up construction and rehabilitation of residential properties, and provides valuable insight to Hunter Smith Architecture and their clients regarding project feasibility and financial analysis.

SERGIO SANCHEZ

Sergio graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2018 and a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning in 2019. Sergio brings over four years of experience working for another Architecture Firm, as well as freelance drafting work for land use and entitlement applications. In addition to providing design input, Sergio's responsibilities include developing technical drawings and 3-dimensional renderings. We particularly appreciate Sergio's technological expertise as he troubleshoots the inevitable IT hiccup.
