Infectious Disease Associates of Central Virginia has provided specialized care to the patients of Central Virginia for more than three decades. We evaluate and treat patients with a variety of infections in the inpatient setting and outpatient settings including overseeing intravenous antibiotic therapy through Intravene, our infusion program. We provide HIV care to patients in Lynchburg, Danville, Martinsville, and South Boston. Patients with hepatitis C infection are evaluated and treated in our Lynchburg clinic. Infectious Disease Associates of Central Virginia has an active clinical trial division investigating new treatments for a number of infectious diseases including COVID 19, HIV, hepatitis C and C. difficile infection. All of our physicians have completed infectious diseases fellowships and are board certified in the medical subspecialty of infectious diseases.
