Inherit was founded in 2021. We have a team that cover the areas of domain expertise needed to unlock the carbon removal solution we are developing: CO₂ treatment technology, biogas, CO₂ storage and carbon markets. Our investors are Equinor Ventures, Startuplab and Stratel... Inherit identifies and approaches biogas plants, that a) separate and release their CO₂ today, and b) that are not too far from a CO₂ storage site. We make sure the CO₂ gets treated, transported and stored in a safe CO₂ storage site. We generate credits that we sell in the voluntary markets for Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). The credits we sell finance the value chain... Inherit works with these biogas plants, to redirect this CO₂ to safe CO₂ storage sites to make sure the CO₂ gets out of the atmosphere.
