Aya Aiba is the Asia/India director and Japan coordinator of the APSC. She is also the Japan representative and instructor for the IMPI (International Maternity and Parenting Institute).​ She writes columns for Kodansha BABY and Shufuno Tomosha MILLY in Japan. Her work has been featured in Kobunsha VERY which is the most read magazine in Japan. Aya was born in Japan and grew up in New York. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Keio University in Japan. She is fully bilingual in both Japanese and English. She worked at Bloomberg in Japan before moving to San Francisco with her husband. After giving birth to her first son, and not knowing anything about child sleep, she quickly became sleep deprived. An ocean away from her parents, she was all by herself in taking care of her son. She began reading books about the science behind child sleep and that led her to get certified by the IMPI. Dr. Rebecca Kempton, MD is a pediatric sleep expert who specializes in helping families with infants to 13-year-olds establish and maintain healthy sleep habits. Working with thousands of families globally, Dr. Kempton coaches families to a better night's sleep with a variety of behavioral techniques based on family goals and cultural influences, children's ages, and temperaments. After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology, from Dartmouth and an M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical School, Dr. Kempton worked as a medical director for healthcare technology and pharmaceutical companies before becoming certified as a pediatric sleep specialist and founding her own business, Baby Sleep Pro. Elaine Harvey

Hi, I'm Elaine Harvey, wife, mum, and the founder of Lullababy SOS. I'm an Early Childhood Educator and a Certified Paediatric Sleep Consultant. Elaine helps mums and dads with all things baby and Toddler related with a special focus on sleep, settling and routine. She started out as a Night Nanny and Maternity Nurse in London 20 years ago, and after moving to Australia 2007 she established Lullababy SOS to help parents who were struggling with knowing how to help their babies and toddlers with their sleep and routine.

Heather Plante is the APSC's Chief Financial Director. She serves as a Regional Director (Canada) of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants, and is founder and director of Soothing Angels - a professional maternity and pediatric sleep consultancy practice based in Alberta. Heather is a trained and certified advanced child and maternity sleep consultant. Continuing education includes courses on SIDS, Post Partum Depression, medical issues relating to sleep, and the Happiest Baby Educator program. This training has enabled Heather to successfully help families around the world; her services have been sought after by doctors and celebrities alike. Heather has written articles and been quoted in local and national papers and magazines. Jolandi Becker, Regional Director (Africa) of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants, traded the corporate hustle-and-bustle for motherhood and became a stay-at-home mom. She is married to a German and the family speaks three languages at home. After having baby number two, she thought she knew it all! Jolandi's journey with Good Night started with her being a client. The baby-mom-sleep-struggle ignited her passion for sleep and her purpose became clear. After joining Good Night as a consultant in 2014, her passion grew with each family she assisted. Now, Jolandi has helped hundreds of families, and she believes sleep is the fundamental building block of healthy living. She considers the education around better sleep as a passion rather than a job. In 2016 she joined the management team and a year later she became joint owner. With each role she's taken on, she's felt the difference she was making to assist families during their own struggles. She continues to feel the passion as for her, Good Night is an extension of who she is. Katie Himsworth, is the Regional Director for Bermuda & The Caribbeans here at the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. She unknowingly started off her career supporting families when she was in University in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked as a Night Nanny and the little boy she was caring for was having troubles getting to sleep and waking up. She was able to see what the issues were and asked his Mum if she could make a few changes to the routine and to how she would respond to him at night. They discussed the changes that needed to be made and the approach with which to make changes she felt best suited him. Five nights later he was sleeping through the night. And from there, her business and education grew. Supporting women and their babies has always been her passion. She is a certified Birth Doula as well as a Certified Child Sleep consultant. She has worked with families all around the world over the past 20 years.Every day is different and every family she works with teaches her something about life she didn't know. She lives in her home country of Bermuda with her husband and younger two boys who are now 6 and 7. Her older two boys, now in their mid-twenties, are still in Canada. She is amazed to be back home working with women on the island and making a difference in her community. Having been away for over 20 years, the island has changed. What hasn't changed is the need families have for healthy sleep habits and empathetic support. Nicole Cannon, The Sleepy Mama, is a certified sleep consultant through the International Maternity and Parenting Institute and member of The Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. Nicole has completed a certification in Infant Mental Health through the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto and also completed a Maternal Mental Health certificate course from Postpartum Support international. She has a dual bachelor's degree in both Marketing (BS) and Management (BA) from DeSales University in Pennsylvania. Ronee started out in the corporate world but left after the birth of her 2nd and 3rd children (identical twins). She soon figured out that getting two children to sleep through the night at the same time was going to be a challenge. Successfully using the Sleep Sense program to sleep train her girls at 7 months old gave Ronee something she'd never had before - a passion for sleep!
