Job Titles:
- Client Relations Director
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness and has worked in the agriculture industry for 10 years. Her previous work experience includes; seed and chemical sales, as well as seed and chemical distribution.
As Client Relations Director, Brittany enjoys working with North Star Systems' clients to understand their business and how North Star Systems' technology can help add value and enable them to be more efficient. Brittany enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with the Tattle Systems product offering and working alongside clients to implement innovative solutions in a way that works best for them. The tech industry is very fast paced and constantly evolving, which she finds exciting to work in an area where anything is possible and have an opportunity to be part of new and exciting things every day.
Brittany enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially at the lake in the summer months. She is also working to improve her golf game. In the winter she enjoys travelling to the mountains and skiing.
Connor has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He has experience in the tech industry and is always looking to learn more. What excites Connor the most is building relationships with new and existing clients. He wants to show customers the value of working in the Ag-Tech/ Enter-Tech industry and identify those openings to grow into new markets. Connor's spare time revolves around being with his family and friends, as well as golfing and playing hockey.
Cristian graduated in Electronics Engineering in Italy, but has focused his career on software development since day one.
His expertise goes from backend to frontend and especially mobile development. For this reason, he is a full stack developer.
Cristian is constantly monitoring the evolution of technology, learning new programming languages and frameworks to help him do his job better every day.
He works remotely from a small town in Southern Alberta and loves working at North Star because of the balance between flexibility and accountability. North Star gives everybody the chance to express their talents without restrictions and it's a place where new ideas are always welcome.
In his spare time, Cristian watches and plays a lot of soccer, enjoys spending time with family and taking his 4×4 to the Rockies.
Denis has over 25 years of experience in IT and 6 years in IoT/IIoT/M2M. Denis' breadth of knowledge in hardware development, software engineering, firmware development, server architecture, and multiple programming and database languages are fundamental skills that Denis brings to North Star Systems.
Denis' love about his job is the fact that there is no routine work. Denis has always had a passion for working with various types of technology, electronics, and computers. It is awesome when your hobby and passion can become your work, and that is exactly what happened to Denis.
In his spare time, Denis enjoys fishing, hunting, playing chess, volleyball and tennis. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and his dog.
Denis is proud to be recognized by the federal government for his achievements along his journey.

- Technical & Quality Manager
As Technical and Quality Manager, Dmitry brings a vast knowledge of electrical experience to the North Star Systems team. Prior to joining the North Star Systems team, Dmitry completed level 1 electrical apprenticeship and spent two years working as an elevator mechanic.
He loves that his job is a continuous, no two days are ever the same routine. The flexibility and limitless opportunities in his work is what excites him the most. He loves the industry because of how well North Star's product fits in solving client's problems. Tattle Systems can be used anywhere, any time, for any application, and he absolutely loves installing the product.
In his spare time, Dmitry enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He also has a passion for woodworking and art. Dmitry is always finding ways to improve and create another successful story. As he likes to say, "The road to success is always under construction".
Jerry graduated with a Computer Science major from University of Saskatchewan.
He loves anything related to IT and new tech. Jerry enjoys his role at North Star Systems because there are always new challenges and tasks that arise, which excite Jerry to think outside the box.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoys watching tech news, reading ten thousand books and walking ten thousand miles.

- Administrative Specialist
Katlin grew up in small town Saskatchewan where farming and agriculture have always been a part of her family. She currently lives in Rosetown, SK with her fiancé, Jamie and their two children Jones and Meyer. Katlin graduated from University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Education.
Her career passions include a combination of teaching and working with children and administrative work. She loves the balance her dual careers of being an Educational Assistant/substitute teacher at an elementary school and Administrative Assistant with North Star Systems provides.
Lisa grew up on a farm outside Clavet, SK. She attended the University of Saskatchewan where she earned her Business Comm with great distinction, majoring in Finance. She proceeded to work at a wealth management company for 14 years, focusing on comprehensive personal and corporate financial planning.
Lisa enjoys that her work feels like a second home. The team dynamics at North Star Systems go far beyond the office since everyone invests time in each other and share in each other's personal successes. North Star Systems is a part of a thrilling industry where every week presents new opportunities. Lisa loves that as a small business, North Star Systems is able to assess a situation, make a plan and implement it quickly.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, biking, camping and visiting with friends.

Mitch graduated with a Computer Science Bachelor's Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Mitch focuses on expanding his knowledge and expertise in the areas of firmware and front end and back end software development.
Two years ago, people knew North Star Systems as a tank monitoring company. Today, North Star Systems is a leading IoT Tech company in Canada. Mitch strongly believes in continuous progress and is proud of the successes conquered in the IoT business thus far; but he also recognizes there is much more to be done.

Yuchen is graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Biology Degree. His career experience includes teaching assistant, salesperson, and Test & Assembly Technician.
What he enjoys most about his role with North Star Systems, is that it is a very new and different experience from his previous jobs and learning about operations and manufacturing is challenging and fun for him. Yuchen's role with North Star Systems is helping him to do things in a more organized and structured way in his work, which is also carried over to his everyday life. Yuchen looks forward to experiencing North Star Systems' future success'.
