Dr. Torres obtained her medical degree at Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in Lima, Peru in 1990. She completed her internship and Residency in General Pediatrics at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California. Following her residency Dr. Torres joined the Faculty of Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California participating actively in the training of Pediatric Residents as well as medical students as a Junior Faculty... Dr. Torres moved to Orlando in 2002 and since then she has been providing Pediatric Care to the diverse children population of Central Florida including Children with special needs. Her areas of interest are ADHD, childhood Obesity and Asthma. Dr. Torres and her team have been recognized by the State of Florida with the Gold Achievement Award for several years for their efforts and success in achieving more tan 95% of immunization coverage in children.
