Amanda Gellman - CEO

Amanda has served on close to 40 boards and event committees, and has been the Founding Chair of three non-profits. Amanda served on the Boards of the Great Lakes Manufacturing Council (Treasurer), the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator (Chair), the Essex Region Conservation Foundation (Making Committee), the Windsor Centre for Film, Digital Media and the Creative Arts (Current President and Founder of the Film Camp for Kids & Youth). She served as four years as the President of the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation during her 13 years on the Board. Previous Board involvement (in brief) also includes six years with the Windsor Family Credit Union and eight years with Leadership Windsor Essex; other examples are the University of Windsor, the Multicultural Council of Windsor Essex, the St. Louis Hunger Coalition, the TLC Foundation, AIDS Walk Canada, the St. Louis Southside Employment Coalition, the Rural Urban Linkage Project (linking urban farming to urban poverty), and many more. Past Advisor to the Renew Initiative for the Diocese of Huron, she is also Past Chair the Financial Development Committee and past member of the Strategic Planning Task Force for the Anglican Diocese of Huron. She has worked extensively in the US and Canada, and has also helped businesses and non-profits around the globe. Amanda is well versed in all facets of marketing as well as private sector and government fund development - and a highly successful proposal writer, skilled trainer and experienced meeting facilitator. True to her east coast roots, Amanda is a "people person" who understands that brand identity is about building a good team as well as getting others to believe in your value proposition and engaged in cross promoting your key messages. Amanda enjoys connecting people and helping to build long-term relationships to create new beginnings and opportunities for MANAN clients. She holds a liberal arts degree in business administration and art, with graduate studies in child & family development and coursework in theology and non-profit management. She is the former Vice-President Advancement for the University of Windsor and, of note, the first female VP at that institution. Amanda has also received many recognitions including: 40 under 40 in St. Louis, The Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, The McDonnell Douglas Feed America Award, Windsor's Women of the Year 2001, and The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Emilio J. Carro MANAN

Emilio J. Carro MANAN Media, Cinematographer Emilio J. Carro is an International Cinematographer/Filmmaker with over 14 years of experience on the Video Production field. He holds a Video & Photography Technical Degree from Spain (2001), and he recently received a Certificate in Applied Information from the University of Windsor (2015). Emilio worked for TV networks & Video production companies in Spain and US, having the opportunity to create videos for well-respected companies, like Roché Pharmaceuticals, bringing his good work to a lot of projects over the years. In Spain, he started to work for one of the four Spanish provincial TV networks as Camera & Sound operator, covering all types of productions (European Soccer League, TV live shows, TV series, News, etc.) He was noticed for his work and received an offer from a Video Production company in the US to place him as Manager of the Video production department, where he could further develop his unique signature way of storytelling, and elevate the name of the company in the market. Currently, Emilio works as a Cinematographer in several independent productions, and also worked with MANAN clients, including the South Asian Centre, Windsor Star, A Life Worth Living, and many others.

Ines Cherif MANAN

Ines Cherif MANAN Media, Graphic Designer Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Ines Cherif works with MANAN clients on marketing, branding and fundraising materials, including web design, logos, illustrations, annual reports, magazines, posters, brochures, flyers, banners, invitations, letterhead, and more. Ines is skilled in imagery development, and has vast experience in multiple artist endeavours and with various mediums. She has excellent communications skills and she is client-centred, and her work ethic is always appreciated. Ines is also a painter and has participated in many artistic expositions in her country of birth, Tunisia. Photography is also her passion, and she is proud to have participated in many professional photo shooting sessions throughout her career.

Nicole Gellman

Nicole Gellman MANAN Strategy & MANAN Media, Writer and Film Editor An April 2015 graduate from the University of Michigan's Screen Arts and Cultures department with a concentration in production, Nicole serves as the Director of the FilmCampForKids.com, founded and produced by MANAN's CEO through Raindance Windsor-Detroit. She has also worked with MANAN clients, including the Northstar Cultural Community centre, A Life Worth Living, the South Asian Centre and many others. She has worked on films that have been selected to play at Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival as well as written and directed films that have gone onto to win cash prizes in local and student festivals. She worked as a P.A. on the feature film The Birderstarring Tom Cavanagh, Fred Willard, Mark Rendall and Graham Greene with The Dot Film Company based in Toronto, Ontario. Nicole also has a BFA in Theatre Performance: Acting from the University of Michigan where she produced and directed original work and lead a number of stage productions for both faculty and student productions. In her stage work she has toured around Ontario in award winning productions, and was a participant in the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the worlds largest fringe festival. Currently, Nicole works as a video editor for local and international clients, and acts as Camp Director during the summer months.

Rob Miller MANAN

Rob Miller MANAN Strategy, Media Relations Specialist Rob Miller is a journalist with nearly four decades of experience in television, radio and print. Although he began his career in private radio, the bulk of his work as a journalist has been with CBC News in Windsor. After thirty years as a television and radio reporter he served as a senior producer in radio, joint assignment producer for radio and television and executive producer of CBC. News in Windsor. Rob has an honours B.A. in Communications from the University of Windsor and a Masters degree in journalism from the University of Western Ontario.
