Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and raised in Blackstone, Massachusetts, Deb always knew she wanted to be an attorney. Both of her parents worked in textile mills and wanted to ensure that their daughter had every opportunity to go to college and pursue a degree in law. She was able to attend Classical High School in Providence, commuting daily from Blackstone, Massachusetts. Deb has been chosen by her peers, since inception in 2007 as a Rhode Island Super Lawyer as well as the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in New England. This honor is limited to no more than five percent of the attorneys in the State of Rhode Island. For 2019, she has been selected as one of Top 10 Attorneys in Rhode Island.

Jerry L. McIntyre

A graduate of Columbia University and Fordham University School of Law, Jerry has been a partner at our firm since 1993, and has been managing partner since 2001. For more than 40 years, Jerry has practiced all facets of family law, including divorce, custody, child support and spousal support, distribution of property, and pre and post nuptial agreements, maintaining an active trial and appellate practice. Jerry is a past president of the Jamestown, Rhode Island town council, served as Vice Chair of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority and formerly sat on the Rhode Island Commission of Judicial Tenure and Discipline. He is a past Commodore of the Conanicut Yacht Club, a past President of the Dumplings Association, has served on both the Charter Review Commission and the Commission for Acquisition of Farm/Open Space for the Town of Jamestown.

Laura is a Partner at McIntyre Tate. Prior to joining the firm, Laura was an associate at the venerable law firm of Atwood & Cherny, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts where she practiced matrimonial law exclusively. As a Rhode Island native, Laura was eager to return to Rhode Island and joined McIntyre Tate in August 2015. Laura has been named a Rhode Island Super Lawyers' Rising Star since 2017. In her brief time practicing in Rhode Island, Laura has already successfully argued two cases in the Rhode Island Supreme Court with significant precedential import in family law. Laura focuses her practice in all areas of matrimonial law including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, premarital and post-marital agreements, and post-divorce matters. Nicholas T. Hunt

Nicholas T. Hunt is an Associate Attorney at McIntyre Tate LLP where he practices family law and commercial litigation. Nick is admitted to the Rhode Island State and Federal Courts and regularly appears in Rhode Island's Providence, Kent, Washington, and Newport County Family Courts. His domestic relations caseload includes divorces, custody disputes, post-final judgments, and child support matters. He is involved with all stages of commercial litigation, including negotiations, preparing pleadings, and appearing on the Superior Court's Civil Motion Calendar. He contributed to the 2023 version of A Practical Guide to Divorce in Rhode Island'schapter on Marital Settlement Agreements and is member of the Edward P. Gallogly American Inn of Court, along with the Rhode Island Bar Association's Family Court Bar Committee. Nick received a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island. Richard A. Boren

For over fifty years, Richard has represented individuals, businesses and corporations in civil litigation - including over sixty jury trials in State and Federal courts and numerous contested divorce cases. Richard has lectured in various states on advocacy and trial tactics. Richard is a diplomate of Trial Advocacy and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Richard has had the honor of serving as President of the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association, the Family Court Inns of Court and the General Litigation Inns of Court. The Rhode Island Supreme Court has appointed Richard to serve on the Supreme Court Disciplinary Committee and the Ethics Advisory Panel, of which he is currently a member. Richard is admitted to practice in all State courts in Rhode Island, the U.S. District Court in Rhode Island, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court. Besides trying cases in Rhode Island, Richard has also tried jury trials in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. For almost twenty-five years, Richard has served on the Jamestown Zoning Board of Review, and is currently its Chairman. Richard graduated from the University of Rhode Island and St. John's University School of Law. Richard's areas of civil litigation include divorce, shareholder disputes, contested probate litigation, discrimination suits, land use and zoning and personal injury.

Robert S. Parker

Rob was born in Newport, Rhode Island but grew up in Pebble Beach, California, and McLean, Virginia, before returning to practice law in Rhode Island in 1984. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and his Juris Doctor Degree from the Washington and Lee University School of Law where he served as a writer and Note and Comment Editor of its Law Review and was selected as one of four Moot Court Finalists. Rob is a Fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Association, a member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bar Associations, both State and Federal, the American Association for Justice, the Rhode Island Bar Association's Family Court Bench Bar Committee and the Inn of the Rhode Island Family Court.

Stephen M. Prignano

Steve represents individuals, businesses and corporations in complex litigation. His practice is broad in scope, ranging from complex Rhode Island Family Court litigation to commercial and civil litigation in trial and appellate courts of numerous jurisdictions. He was named 2023 Lawyer of the Year in "Bet-the-Company Litigation" for Providence, Rhode Island and 2022 Lawyer of the Year in "Product Liability Litigation - Defendants" for Providence by Best Lawyers. In his Family Law practice, Steve serves as President of the Northeast Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Steve graduated first in his class from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now Quinnipiac University School of Law). While in law school, Steve was the editor-in-chief of the University of Bridgeport law review and was a member of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi. After law school, and prior to joining the Providence firm of Edwards & Angell in 1987, Steve was a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas J. Meskill of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Manhatten. Steve is listed in the Commercial Litigation section of The Best Lawyers in America and has been named a New England Super Lawyer and a Rhode Island Super Lawyer by Law & Politics magazine since 2007.
