METABOLIC HEALTH - Key Persons

Tara Kelly

Job Titles:
  • Registered Dietitian
  • Senior Specialist
Understanding the correct nutrition to fuel your body is not a straightforward, once size fits all approach. Understanding how your diet has effected your metabolism and health is key to future health and goals. Our team works with individuals to give them the information and education they need to meet their health goals. We will work with you on a 1:1 basis (virtually) and looks at each person holistically to find what will work for them. In addition, we can combine this with our metabolic screening to ensure you have the best possible data to base future decisions about your health. We do not believe that giving individuals a specific meal plan is always the answer and will discuss with you types of foods and ideas which may work for you rather than prescribed plans. Tara Kelly is a senior specialist Obesity and Diabetes dietitian working in King's College Hospital, London. Tara is specifically interested in type 2 diabetes remission and the use of therapeutic diets (such as low carbohydrate diets) in improving the health of people with metabolic syndrome and associated conditions (Type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension).
