Dr. Sucha S. Parmar is the President and Technical Director of Atmospheric Analysis and Consulting, Inc. (AAC Lab), which he established in 1993. Dr. Parmar has over 25 years of experience in the environmental field, including research, method development, air pollution monitoring and analysis. Prior to starting AAC Lab, Dr. Parmar was the Technical Director of ENSR Consulting and Engineering in Camarillo, California, where he was in charge of all monitoring and analysis pertaining to air quality projects. Dr. Parmar has 30 years of experience in atmospheric chemistry measurement and method development in environmental monitoring of Volatile and Semi-Volatile Organic and inorganic pollutants. Dr. Parmar has a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry. He obtained his Ph.D. in Spectroscopy and Photochemistry from the University of Nottingham, England. Dr. Parmar is a member of AWMA, the Source Evaluation Society, GRA (Vapor Intrusion), NCASI and the American Chemical Society, and has published or presented over 40 research papers. Dr. Parmar has been active in the following major programs: Dr. Parmar is the co-author of U.S. EPA Method TO-11A for monitoring carbonyls and has modified EPA Method 16M for sulfur compounds, and the California Air Resources Board Method 430 for sampling and analysis of acrolein using DNPH derivatization.
