Benjamin Joffe

Job Titles:
  • Director
Benjamin is one of National Probate's directors, responsible for all things "tech". He also assists with the day to day operations of National Probate's uncontested applications department, facilitating the granting of hundreds of probate, letters of administration and reseal applications across Australia. Over the last 6 years Benjamin has helped create and design National Probate's software and operation platform, allowing our estate solicitors and paralegals to manage the high volumes of applications, at high standards, being submitted to Australia's various state Supreme Courts. This has allowed the National Probate team to spend more time focusing on client care, than being bogged down in precedents and paperwork. Due to his involvement in the world of probate during this time, Benjamin has developed an intricate knowledge of probate and administration laws and process, often exceeding that of non-specialist suburban solicitors.

Job Titles:
  • Director
Gennadi is one of National Probate's directors, managing the day to day running of all contested and uncontested matters across Australia's multiple states. Throughout his legal career he has worked at several estate law firms, focusing exclusively on estate administration and litigation. He also acts for estates and plaintiffs in contested probate, equity and family provision proceedings. Over the years, Gennadi has advised and acted for Public and Private trustees organisations across Australia, and interstate and international law firms around the world. He and his team are well equipped to handle even the most complex administration applications and estate suits. Some of Gennadi's recent experience includes: Obtaining orders invoking the ‘forfeiture rule' and the retrospective severance of jointly-held assets in circumstances of a spouse killing. Being appointed by the Supreme Court of NSW as a trustee for the management of funds on behalf of a disabled minor. Defending against probate suit in circumstances of a suicide-letter will, and missing will application. Settling both claims for and against estates in family provision proceedings. Commencing and defending will-validity proceedings in circumstances indicating a lack of mental capacity. I have a strong urge to do my part in making estate law accessible to everyday families.
