Since 1994 Scott has been in the development business. Having grown up in the construction industry and being the son of well-known Alberta businessman and founder of Nelson Lumber, Raymond Nelson, Scott eventually branched out on his own to do what he does best: create. Ever since, Scott's keen eye for land and vision for what can be done with it has lead Nelson Developments through a variety of projects, large and small. Scott is truly passionate about development, but also has his father's giving heart and helping nature. It's not uncommon to hear he has made a quite contribution to a local family in need, is tackling the personal challenges of his team as if they are his own or on the road to pick up a hard-to-find gift for a supplier's child. Scott simply loves to help, but isn't one for the spotlight; he lets the projects handle that.
