Bill Oliver

Bill Oliver founded William E. Oliver Associates, Inc. in 2000 as a business brokerage firm targeting sell-side representation of mostly manufacturing and construction companies. Bill rebranded his company to Oliver Investment Banking (OIB) in 2011 upon passing the FINRA licenses of Series 79 and 63. Since then OIB has expanded its services to include capital raising and buy-side/sell-side representation for securities related transactions. Bill worked 22 years for Valleylab, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado achieving the International Strategic Planning Award. During his tenure, Bill worked in the product-testing lab, manufacturing management, directed the implementation of a company-wide Materials Requirement Planning implementation, served as Director of Customer Requirements in concert with leading a think-tank team for drafting a top down/bottom up strategic direction document. In addition to holding FINRA Licenses Series 79, 63, Bill holds a Colorado Real Estate License for when buildings are sold as part of the sale of the Corporation. Bill is originally from Miami, Oklahoma and has taken a varied journey to get to his current skill sets. He has a B.A. and M.A. from Cincinnati Seminary, B.A. in Biology from the University of Colorado and was accepted into the M.S. in Finance Program at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business where he completed finance and accounting courses that formed the backbone for his finance skills. Mr. Oliver is on the Board for The Foundation for Colorado Springs' Future sponsored by the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce as well as the Colorado Springs Falzarano Chapter of the Space Force Association. Bill is an avid fly fisherman and has, along with his wife Genet, fished across much of the US and hopes to do so Internationally.

General Tim Coffin

General Coffin joined Oliver Investment Banking (OIB) in late 2023 as our Space, Missile Defense, and industry expert to assist with the growth and goal setting for Aerospace and Defense companies. Tim is a retired United States Army Brigadier General (BG) who brings over three decades of experience working across a broad range of critical defense functions including Strategic Planning, Logistics, International Partnerships, Research and Development, Space Operations, Intelligence, Missile Defense, Satellite Communications, Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), Space Control, Directed Energy Systems, Test and Evaluation, Requirements Development, Training, and Business Capture activities. A graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, General Coffin started his military carrier with the Army Special Forces Detachment Europe. He commanded at company level at Fort Hood Texas and then was selected to serve in the Army Secretariat in Northern Virginia. He was then assigned to the Joint Staff in the Pentagon as an intern under General Colin Powell. He attended the Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and was selected to attend the highly selective School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) program. Upon graduation from SAMS he became a division planner for the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado.
