Anurag Acharya

Anurag Acharya is a Director of Practice at Policy Entrepreneurs Inc (PEI). He has a decade-long experience, working formerly as a journalist and currently as a researcher. Anurag has written extensively on Nepal's governance, politics, and foreign policy. He has a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies and a Master's degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.

Devi Ram Sharma

Devi Ram Sharma has served the National Investigation Department (NID) for 31 years. He has worked as Chief Officer of NID for eight years, and has also worked as an active member in several commissions and investigative teams formed by the Government of Nepal at different times. He has contributed to the work of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and other probe commissions. Sharma holds M.A. (Political Science) and B.L. degrees from Tribhuvan University. Besides formal education, he has received training from several national and international agencies during his career in NID. He got trained in Advance Intelligence Operation Training conducted by the CIA in 1992. He visited China for a study on Security and Cross Border Crimes in 1996. He has successfully completed the Senior Conflict Management Course run by the State Department of the United States. Besides these, he has also received various training run by several intelligence agencies of the world. He is decorated with U.N. Peace Walk Medals and American Medal and Honour for outstanding contribution. He is a recipient of national medals such as Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu-IV, Bikhyat Trishakti Patta-III and Suprabala Gorkha Dakchhinbahu-III. He has also been honored as a Peace Ambassador by Universal Peace Foundation.

Dr. Preeti Raghunath

Prof. Ganga Thapa

Prof. Kapil Shrestha

Prof. Kapil Shrestha is a passionate human rights activist and a civil society leader who has been at the forefront of Nepal's democratic movements. He has been advocating for human rights in the country. He is also a Senior Visiting Professor, Central Department of Political Science, Tribhuvan University, and also a Steering Committee member of one year Asia-Pacific Master's program on Human Rights and Democratization (MHRD/APMA) and a visiting faculty at the Mahidol University, Bangkok. He has experience of serving in the National Human Rights Commission as a member and as a member of the National Monitoring Committee on Ceasefire Code of Conduct, 2006. Prof. Shrestha has penned numerous publications in scholarly journals in Nepal and abroad, in both Nepali and English Languages.

Rabi Raj Thapa

Rabi Raj Thapa has a long career in policing in Nepal. He is a noted expert in Law Enforcement and Narcotic Drugs Prevention and Control. He has worked as Director of the Drug Advisory Program at the Colombo Plan Secretariat from 1996 to 2000. He was the Chief of the UNDCP Master plan in 1990. He has also played a key role in the establishment of the Armed Police Force (APF) of Nepal. He was deputed as Head of the APF during the formative years of the National Security Council Secretariat. He also acted as Chief of the Immigration Office of Nepal from 1987 to 1988. Thapa has participated in several national and international training, seminars and conferences on control of Narcotics Drugs, organized crimes and money laundering. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Tribhuvan University.
