Our story begins in small town Johnson City over 82 years ago more than half of our cities age! My grandfather, the late John Kalogeros, founded Peerless in 1938. Two decades later, my father Jim Kalogeros served this city for over half a Century. Today, led by the 4th generation & titled Tennessee's Oldest Restaurant, our family's legacy is being redefined once again. Starting a new decade in 2021, we are relaunching the newest state of the art restaurant in the Tri-Cities Region... Since 1938, the Peerless has been known for signature dishes and chef driven fare.
