Agnes Boucheron

Agnes Boucheron has more than 25 years of experience in EU policy making. She specializes in the field of Research and Innovation and Sustainable Development. She is a former Policy Officer at the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation) and Policy Advisor and Research Analyst for the European Parliamentary Research Service of the European Parliament. As an M&E consultant she provides regular support to the European Commission (H2020 - Horizon Europe) and national bodies in conducting scientific evaluations of projects. Agnes serves as well as an EU ethics Expert Reviewer. She frequently delivers assessments and reports to the EC, Agencies of the European Union and clients on ethics issues. She completed her studies in European Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and in Program Life Cycle Management and Project Analysis from Rennes University.

Andrew Leming

Andrew Leming has over 5 years of experience in conducting research studies and evaluations of various public policy initiatives and advising decision makers. He has a strong track record of working with multi-national expert teams He has experience liaising with national and international clients at various levels in the public and private sectors: multinational firms, national ministries, the European Commission and its agencies. Andrew is the author of a number of publications and provides opinion and commentary to the international media.

Ardiana Jaku

Ardiana has over eighteen years of professional experience in project management, public management, coordination, and research, from design to implementation. She has substantial experience in drafting, amendment, and analysis of Laws and By Laws as well as designing, implementing, and monitoring National and Local programs and strategic plans. Ardiana has coordination and managing skills while working with different working groups locally, regionally, nationally, or internationally in leading different processes and activities, most of which were related to policies, cross-cutting strategies, and action plans.

Dana Iliescu

Dana has more than 10 years of experience in policymaking, research and evaluation assessment of conformity of MS legislation with EU Directives. She worked as Policy Officer in the European Commission being involved among others in the drafting and negotiations of the 2030 Climate and Energy Package and the negotiations of the 2015 Paris Agreement on Climate Action. She has very good knowledge of agriculture, energy and environmental policies at EU and Member State level and she is an experienced negotiator under the UNFCCC, the Paris Agreement and at EU level (co-decision).

Dr Venera Baycheva

Dr Venera Baycheva is an Associate Professor at the Department of Bulgarian as a foreign language at the University of Sofia. She is author of several publications such as: Linguistic aspects of sharing foreign culture, ISBN:978-619-7313-15-4, 2021, Teaching Bulgarian as a foreign language in a digital context, ISSN (print):ISSN 0323-9519 (Print), 2021. Dr Baycheva is involved as well in large scale multiannual projects such as: Multilingual thematic dictionary in support of the teaching of Bulgarian as a foreign language, 2021. She is fluent on English and German.

Dr. Andrea Mogni

Dr. Andrea Mogni has over 30 years of experience working for the European Commission as Economist and Senior Policy Officer and Financial Expert at the European External Action Service (EEAS). Earlier in his career, Andrea served as an Expert in Economic Development for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and he worked as an industrial economist/programmer at IRI Group-Public Holding in Rome. Since 2014 Andrea is a fully independent senior consultant, advising the Commission , Embassies, industries, think- tanks, investors, NGOs/CSOs , etc on EU green policies, sustainability, financial instruments and regulatory frameworks. Andrea, being resident in Brussels, is a member of several think- tanks in Belgium and Europe, he has a long experience as public speaker/conferencier/visiting professor , he has written extensively and he has a robust network of contacts in academic, environmental and business quarters.

Joseph Delgove

Joseph Delgove has been working on environmental policy and adaptation to climate change for the last 4 years, both internationally and nationally, in the public and private sector. After graduating cum laude from a Master's in Adaptation to Climate Change from the University Paris-Saclay, Joseph had the opportunity to work for important actors in the international policy and research sphere (UNDP, CNRS, SOFRECO) in Lebanon, Canada and France. As a research associate for the Open Diplomacy Institute, Joseph currently works on international environmental policy and geopolitics of climate.

Maria Mateeva-Kazakova

She has undertaken assignments for the EuropeanCommission (DG MOVE, DG Connect, DG Grow), the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, different Agencies of the European Union (INEA, EASME,ERCEA) and others. Before that she was an Advisor to the Chair of REGI Committee at the European Parliament. Maria is a GLG Council Member and former Consultant at the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services in London. Maria holds a PhD in Political Science(First-Class Honours distinction) from Paris Sorbonne-University (Paris II Pantheon-Assas).

Rana Kassas

Rana Kassas is a public international law scholar and legal regulatory consultant. She completed her Ph.D. thesis at Kent Law School, University of Kent, on the Public-Private Distinction in Investment Treaty Arbitration (specifically, in Investor-State Dispute Settlement). Previously, Rana earned an LL.M. in International Business Law from the Université Catholique de Lyon, and a post-graduate diploma in European Business Law from the University of Oxford. Beyond academia, she is a certified environmental specialist that has experience in legal regulatory consulting for Fortune 500 clients in the fields of environment, health, consumer protection, and foreign investment compliance. She has also collaborated on projects with the Energy Charter Secretariat, the United Nations (OSLA), the Max Planck Institute, and the International Mediation Institute.

Sue Bird

She has been a funding programme manager (eg of regional development programmes), a policy coordinator (eg of CSR), and an operations manager (running a communication campaign for and organising a series of European Vocational Skills Weeks). Outside her professional environment, Sue is a Chair of the International Association of Facilitators Belgium Chapter, Chair of a Rotary Club de Bruxelles committee for grants to disadvantaged groups.
