Burger Bar

Burger Bar - This divey walk-in joint brings us back to the era of 1950's diners. Bring an appetite because portions are large and you'll want to get one of everything. Of course you can't go to the Burger Bar without having a milkshake. While traditional flavors like vanilla and chocolate are great, we recommend a banana fudge shake. Quaker Steak & Lube - While we typically don't go for chains, Quaker Steak is a notable mention. Just across the street from Burger Bar, Quaker Steak offers a never ending list of draught beer, and an equally long list of wings, making this place worth a stop. Like spicy foods? Try their Eat Heat Challenge by eating six wings made from scorpion pepper venom and concentrated capsaicin. Not so fast though: you'll have to sign a waiver first. The Bristol Hotel - The prestigious Bristol Hotel offers two separate dining experiences in house. The first, Lumac, offers sweeping views of the surrounding Appalachian mountains on the rooftop bar. Serving craft beer, small batch whiskey, and a limited bar menu, Lumac is a great place to meet up with friends, family, or co-workers. Feeling something a bit more refined? Dine-in downstairs at Vivian's Table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We're not sure who Vivian is, but we love her lobster pasta and slow braised pork osso bucco.

Chris Widner

Chris Widner was born and raised in Bristol, VA. He spent a short time living in Atlanta, GA, but returned home to Bristol. Chris attended John S. Battle High School and Virginia Highlands Community College. Prior to his career in real estate, Chris worked as a case manager for over 20 years in the healthcare industry where he learned to listen and understand the needs and wants of his clients. Chris utilizes these skills everyday to help clients find a place to call home. Homes have always been an interest point for Chris, even from a young age. He values being able to evaluate a client's situation and help them achieve the American dream of home ownership. Chris looks forward to redefining real estate by focusing on building relationships and friendships with each client and removing the transactional focus of home buying. When Chris isn't helping clients achieve their home ownership goals he likes to spend his time traveling or golfing. He is also an avid car enthusiast and foodie. Chris strives to make the most of life and the journey he is on and always encourages his friends and family to do the same and make memories to last a lifetime. Last, but not least, Chris also likes spending time with his two Siamese cats, Diesel and Blue. "We met Chris at a house showing. We both felt comfortable and asked him to help us in our search. Over the next six to eight months, Chris responded to every call and text immediately and showed us ev… ery house we were even mildly interested in until we found what we wanted. He took the time to try and figure out what we wanted, which was difficult, because we were open to several different situations, some involving downsizing and some going larger. His knowledge of the the tri-cities was fantastic and he has become a permanent resource for us even after our purchase. We enjoyed our process and are very grateful to have had Chris to help us."

Cody was drawn to a career in real estate after watching his parents buy, flip, and sell homes. He also has a servant heart and deeply believes in giving back to the community, and what better way to give back than to help someone find their dream home. Cody plans to redefine real estate by serving the community with his dedication and passion for real estate. His attention to detail and persistence to leave no stone unturned will serve him well as he devotes himself to giving his clients a sophisticated and carefree home buying experience.
