RAUIKA

Rauika Māngai is a term that means, an ‘assembly of representatives'. These representatives of the 11 NSCs and Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga are Māori scientists, research leaders and programme managers at the national forefront of Vision Mātauranga implementation. Through a collective effort across the National Science Challenges, the Rauika Māngai works for the wellbeing of whānau, hapū, iwi and diverse Māori communities in ways that uphold tikanga and wairuatanga and extends the mātauranga continuum.
