It was in 1985 when Fresno resident Jackie Holmes visited an affiliate in Tucson, AZ. Our affiliate, originally dubbed Fresno County, was established soon after! Our first ReStore opened in 2007. In 2016, we expanded into Madera County and renamed ourselves Greater Fresno Area... We build safe, decent, and affordable shelter in the heart of California. Our organization covers most of Fresno and Madera counties.
