Jeremy Smith, owner and founder of Smith Home Inspections LLC, enjoys spending time at and around beautiful Smith Mtn Lake. Whether its wakeboarding, riding bikes, church activities or just hanging out on the dock with family and friends, most weekends you can find him there.
His career started in 1999 when he first started working for a well known, Top 500, and locally and family owned construction and remodeling company. It was there where he started to learn all aspects of the construction industry: serving as a field helper, moving into a lead superintendent role, to serving as the service manager, to a top producing salesman then into his role as the residential division manager where his responsibilities included managing employees, subcontractors, vendors and customers.
His career in home inspections began first with gaining knowledge and understanding of construction and remodeling during the last two decades. He studied and became certified through the teaching of Inspector Certification Associates (I.C.A.) school. He is also a certified home inspector through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and carries a New Residential Structures (NRS) certification where he is able to inspect new construction homes.
