Standard Public School was established by Prof G.M.Mir along with his long time friends Prof G.N.Firaq and Prof Mohammed Yousuf. After going some hardtime, the school was taken over by Prof G.M.Mir and has since been overseen by him and his family. The school has since grown to become one of valleys finest educational institute and has since been helping to better the society by imparting the best education.
