Bill King

Bill is a founding StrategyCorps partner. He also founded DirectorCorps in 2014, the publisher of BankDirector magazine, heads its executive committee and serves as chairman. He was also founder and chairman of Madison Financial Corporation, served as Chairman of Private Business, Inc. and served on the boards of New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq companies. Outside of banking, Bill was also chairman of Rivals.com until its acquisition by Yahoo in 2007. He is an active investor and serves or has served on a variety of private company boards, including BankDirector, 247 Sports, Magellan Press, Comicbook.com and Journal Communications. Bill is a graduate of Princeton University and has a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Christie Skelley - COO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Operations Officer
Christie manages several StrategyCorps' operations teams, including account management, production fulfillment, customer service, solution launch, and enhancements and compliance. She also provides oversight of vendor management and other third-party relationships. Prior to StrategyCorps, she was Senior Vice President of Client Services at FISI-Madison Financial where she directed product delivery to over 4,000 clients. Christie is a graduate of Lipscomb University, double majoring in management and marketing.

Dave Crook - CEO

Dave is responsible for company-wide business development and top-line revenue performance while also executing other executive duties as Managing Partner at the headquarters office. He has a wealth of insightful experience from his direct work with hundreds of financial institutions of all sizes nationwide, including his previous executive responsibilities at FISI-Madison Financial. This experience and overall industry knowledge makes him uniquely qualified to help clients with all facets of retail checking strategy. Dave graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing.

Dave DeFazio

Dave's extensive financial services experience and continuous research in the field help him ensure that each product and service meets the needs of today's financial institutions. At StrategyCorps, he leads and manages the company's direct sales efforts while working directly with financial institutions to design, build, and implement a variety of checking solutions. He downloads banking apps for fun. On the weekend. And talks about them at dinner with his family. Across the industry, Dave is a highly sought-after speaker who has shared thought leadership on innovations in financial technology, retail banking, mobile banking, customer engagement, product and customer profitability, product design, bank marketing, and changing consumer behaviors in an increasingly mobile-centric world. Dave graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics. Dave leads and manages the direct sales efforts of the community financial institution team and works directly with financial institutions to design, build, and implement a variety of checking solutions. His extensive financial services experience and continuous research in the field ensures each product and service meets the needs of today's financial institutions. Dave is a highly sought after speaker who has presented at major industry conferences nationwide and dozens of state associations meetings, sharing thought leadership on innovations in financial technology, retail banking, and changing consumer behaviors in an increasingly mobile-centric world.

Greg Thurman

Greg Thurman is a founding StrategyCorps partner. He is also the Chairman of Journal Communications, the leading publisher of Chamber of Commerce publications across the country. He was also President and CEO of FISI-Madison Financial, Chairman of InfoAdvantage, Inc., and a primary owner and board member of Private Business, Inc. He is a board member of Brentwood Academy and has served on the board with the United Way of Williamson County. Greg is a graduate of Central Missouri State University.

Mike Branton

Job Titles:

Mike directs overall corporate financial strategy and operations performance and is responsible for the bottom-line performance of the business. He also leads and manages the strategic alliance group, known as CorpsPartners, while also working directly with selected long-term clients and assisting in the development and evolution of StrategyCorps solutions. Prior to StrategyCorps, he advised financial institutions and other professional services companies in the areas of strategic planning, mergers/acquisitions and solutions development as the CEO and owner of a specialized management consulting firm. He has also been an investor and executive in technology, real estate development, engineering, and specialty insurance companies. Mike graduated from Wake Forest University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Masters of Business Administration degree.
