Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) is a Hungarian public research university based in Budapest. Founded in 1635, ELTE is one of the largest and the most prestigious university of Hungarian higher education. ELTE is organized into eight faculties and into research institutes, located throughout Budapest and on the scenic banks of the Danube.
