Dr Akilan Velayudhan is an Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain
Anna graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 and commenced her GP training in 2018. Anna lives in the Macedon Ranges and is committed to providing comprehensive holistic care to her patients with a particular interest in Obesity, Child and Adolescent Health, Women's Health and Chronic Disease Management. She is qualified in Implanon insertion/removal. Anna also works part-time as a medical educator. When Anna is not at work, she is a busy mother of 3 children and a passionate vegetable gardener.
Dr Anthony Bianco graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Medicine in 2016. He completed further training at Western Health and the Austin Hospital before moving into General Practice.
He enjoys seeing a variety of patients in General Practice and his clinical interests include Child and Adolescent Health, Sports injuries and Chronic Disease Management.
Away from medicine he enjoys travelling and playing sports in particular Soccer, Golf and Running.
Dr Ashish Kumar Panigrahi is a Clinical Haematologist who has trained in Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He has also served in regional Victoria at Bendigo Hospital. Dr Panigrahi has keen interests in both malignant and non-malignant haematology. He has special interests in Multiple Myeloma, MPN disorders, MDS and elderly AML. Dr Panigrahi was involved as sub investigator in clinical trials at the Peter MacCallcum Cancer Centre. Dr Panigrahi endeavours to provide comprehensive patient centric care.
During his free time, he enjoys water colour art and is an avid hiker.
Dr Chantal Gangemi graduated from Deakin University in 2015 and then completed further training at The Northern Hospital before moving into General Practice, receiving her RACGP fellowship in 2020. Chantal enjoys all facets of General Practice with special interests in Child and Adolescent Health, Travel Medicine and Women's Health, and is qualified in Implanon insertion and removal. Chantal practices part-time and when not at work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and her dog Benji.
Dr Chatwell Habana completed university studies at University College Dublin, Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics & child Health). He offers general paediatric medical services for children from zero to 18 years of age. His special interest is in developmental disability and paediatric physical rehabilitation.
He enjoys interacting with families and is passionate about health advocacy. His experience includes working in Paediatrics at tertiary hospitals both in Ireland and Australia. He started his Paediatric training in Dublin at Temple Street Children's Hospital followed by Crumlin Children's Hospital. Chatwell completed his paediatric training in Australia through Westmead Childrens Hospital, Sydney Childrens Hospital and Royal Childrens Hospital(RCH). Also spending time in paediatric departments at Bundaberg, Dubbo and Lismore. He also spent 2 years with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS ) developing his rehabilitation skills.
Dr Habana enjoys a number of active hobbies including bush walking and off road driving, as well as interests in painting and music. He is also kept busy outside medicine by his three young children.
Dr Faith Drew is an Australian trained GP and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked with Eastern Health before embarking into GP training. She has work experience as a GP in QLD, NT and in remote indigenous community. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and is trained on procedures like IUD and implanon insertions and removal, ingrown toe nail resection, skin checks and procedures. She lives in Macedon Ranges and enjoys her free time with family.
Joe has an interest in all aspects of General Practice but does have a special interest in Diabetes. Joe is also an accredited GP supervisor who was nominated for Supervisor of the year in 2013.

Dr. Lipi Shukla is a Melbourne trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Lipi completed her plastic surgery training rotating through all the major tertiary centres in Victoria, including The Alfred, St Vincent's, Royal Melbourne and Royal Children's hospitals. She has a strong interest in, hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery as required for the treatment of cancer or trauma. Lipi values a compassionate and individualised approach endeavouring to deliver the best possible patient experience and outcomes.
Lipi holds public appointments as a Consultant Surgeon at The Alfred and St Vincent's Hospital. She consults privately in East Melbourne and Brighton Plastic Surgery clinics as well in Murrumbeena (Southern Dermatology) and Sunbury (Vineyard Medical Centre).
Dr Rory Bartlett graduated from Deakin University in 2011 and worked between The Austin and The Northern Hospital before starting GP training. He completed half of his GP time consulting at Vineyard Medical Centre. He enjoys treating patients of all ages however has special interests in paediatrics and patients with chronic medical conditions.

Dr Roshan Ariyaratnam is a General Surgeon with interests in Abdominal Wall and Complex Hernia Surgery. He was born and raised in the United Kingdom, where he completed his medical education at Imperial College London Medical School in 2008. Following his graduation, he began his career in the National Health Service (NHS), gaining valuable early experience in centres such as St Mark's Hospital in London and Colchester General Hospital.
In 2011, Roshan became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Seeking new challenges and opportunities, he decided to migrate to Australia to pursue advanced surgical training in General Surgery. He obtained his Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2022 after completing training through Western Health.
Roshan has been mentored by some of the finest surgeons in the world and he is able to offer the finest care in General Surgery to the Sunbury Region.

Trisha graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2003. After working in the hospital system for 10 years, Trisha moved to the Macedon Ranges to start her GP training in 2012, and has remained working locally since finishes her GP training in 2014.
While Trisha enjoys all aspects of General Practice she has a special interest in stitches and plaster, Child & Adolescent Health, Women's Health and Travel Medicine.
Trisha is qualified in Implanon insertion/removal and Mirena removal as well as minor procedures.
Most recently Trisha has furthered her studies to become a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME).
Outside of work Trisha is a dedicated Western Bulldogs supporter who enjoys attending games with her daughter and family.

Dr Zenia Chow is Australian dual fellowship trained Otolaryngologist Head and Neck Surgeon specialising in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Zenia has completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with honours after obtaining a full academic scholarship at the University of Melbourne. Initially, Zenia trained at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and then completed ENT training in Perth and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013.
Dr Chow has had experience in Head and Neck and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery after completing 3 Clinical Fellowships. She completed a Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship recognised by the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS) in Perth. Following this, she completed Head and Neck and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships at the University of Virginia, USA. In addition, she spent time furthering her skills with world leaders in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington USA.
Dr Chow enjoys all aspects of ENT and endeavours to provide excellent medical care. Dr. Nicholas D'Elia is an AHPRA accredited specialist cardiologist, recognized by the Royal Australiasian College of Physicians. He practices in all areas of adult cardiology.
Nicholas completed medical school at the University of Tasmania with full clinical honours, followed by an internship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland. Nicholas then returned to Melbourne and completed his basic physician training at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. This was followed by two years of advanced training at The Western Hospital, and a third year of advanced training at Bendigo Hospital and The Alfred Hospital. Nicholas is currently completing a fellowship in advanced cardiac device management and electrophysiology at The Alfred Hospital in addition to a PhD supported by the National Heart Foundation and NHMRC.
Nicholas has a strong track record with research in cardiovascular disease - having published multiple studies in world leading journals. His work now forms the basis for international guidelines.
Outside of work Nicholas enjoys staying fit, and spending time with his young family and rambunctious labrador.

Mr Alvin Cham is a specialist Breast, Endocrine and Laparoscopic surgeon who is known for his commitment to minimally invasive surgery and outstanding patient care.
Mr Cham specialises in a wide range of procedures, including breast cancer surgery, thyroid surgery, obesity surgery, laparoscopic intra-abdominal procedures and complex hernia operations.
In addition to English, Mr Cham also speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. Patients who prefer to speak in either of these languages are most welcome to do so during their consultations.

Mr Andrew Gogos is a neurosurgeon and spine surgeon based in Melbourne. He is an expert in brain tumour and cranial surgery, having completed a prestigious brain tumour fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Mr Gogos is passionate about providing individualised care utilising the latest technologies and minimally invasive techniques to improve outcomes for his patients. He has a special interest in treating patients with brain tumours (including glioma, pituitary tumours, schwannoma, meningioma and metastases), trigeminal neuralgia and Chiari malformation.

Camdon Fary is a Melbourne based Orthopaedic surgeon who sub-specialises in hip and knee arthroscopy, sports surgery and joint replacement.
Cam completed his surgical fellowship training in Melbourne in 2009. He then spent a total of two years in Lyon, France and Oxford, UK sub specialising in hip and knee joint surgery. Returning to Australia in 2011 he completed further training in hip arthroscopy and anterior hip replacement under Mr. John O'Donnell.
Cam has a keen interest in the latest medical technologies and clinical research. In the ten years since completing his training, he has observed rapid and significant changes; including the emergence of new technologies that assist both the surgeon and patient to achieve the best outcomes. To keep abreast of these changes, he is undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne to assess these technological advances and how they may optimise patient outcomes. His research focusses on robotic surgery, sensor assisted total knee replacement, continuous biometric monitoring and pre-rehabilitation programs to better prepare patients for surgery.

Dr Craig Mills is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon
Yarra Vascular Surgeons is an exciting new group vascular surgery practice that is unique in Melbourne. Mr Hai Bui is a general surgeon with an interest in minimally-invasive and laparoscopic surgery. He also routinely performs laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, perianal surgery, carpal tunnel release, varicose vein surgery, circumcision, vasectomy, skin lesions and ingrown toenails surgery. Mr Bui is also a consultant surgeon at the Western Health and the Werribee Mercy Hospital. He operates privately out of Western Private Hospital, John Fawkner Private Hospital and Epworth Hospital.
Mr Bui graduated from Melbourne University Medical School in 1996. He obtained his Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2006. Mr Bui is committed to providing a prompt and accessible surgical service to GPs for both their public and privately insured patients.
Mr James Huang is a consultant urological surgeon who is skilled in general urology, minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. James graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours, and completed urology training in Victoria, obtaining his Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Thereafter, he completed an additional Sub-Specialty Fellowship in Urological Oncology at the Vancouver Prostate Centre, University of British Columbia, Canada, where he received additional training in all aspects of major oncology and minimally invasive treatment of cancers with advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. James is committed to providing individualised patient care, with an emphasis on patient engagement and prompt communication with GPs to ensure coordinated care.

Mr Richard Pennington is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in upper limb conditions from the shoulder to the hand as well as general orthopaedic conditions and trauma. He trained in London (UK) and has completed subspecialty fellowship training in Denver (USA), Melbourne and Sydney. He is dual accredited in both Australia and the UK and is happy to have settled in Victoria.
Richard strongly believes that all treatment, both operative and non-operative, should be focused on evidence based medicine. He works closely and collaboratively with allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes from initial consultation to full recovery.

Mr Wei-Han Tay is a Melbourne orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions, and general
trauma. He consults and operates in the east, north and inner city.
A/Prof Sina Babazadeh is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in wrist, knee and hip surgery. Sina completed his surgical training in 2018 and subsequently completed fellowship in Barcelona, Spain in 2018.
His interest in wrist surgery was solidified after a fellowship with world-renowned wrist surgeon, Professor Marc Garcia-Elias, publishing and investigating new techniques and writing a book chapter on the subject.
Sina also has a keen interest in knee surgery, specifically the arthritic knee. He spent 4 years completing a PhD in knee replacement surgery and published numerous articles about the subject. Current interests include refining knee replacement surgery, aiming for rapid, painless recovery and also keenly pursuing novel management options for early arthritis, without knee replacement surgery.
Sina is also keenly involved in hip arthritis and hip replacement surgery using the latest evidence-based techniques to improve recovery, function and longevity. He has had research collaborations world-wide and spent time in Belgium, Switzerland and Italy fine-tuning his technique.
