Katie Herlihy

Katie is joining us with an extensive background and experience in Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy. She has worked for several NHS trusts across England as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Previously Katie has been a Manager for an Early Years Speech and Language Therapy Service with responsibility for the management of pre-school children with complex communication and language needs, including Autism, Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Katie has experience in assessment and intervention for children requiring support in a range of areas including: AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Articulation and Phonology Developmental Language Disorder Dyspraxia Early Childhood Language Development Learning Difficulties Katie has experience of supporting children's eating and drinking, with dysphagia specific training. Her additional training is extensive and includes Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction and Makaton.

Linda Webster

Linda is a Specialised Occupational Therapist here at Bursting with Potential. She has over 15 years' experience of working with adults and children, many with learning disabilities. Over the last 7 years Linda has worked in a specialist school for children with ASD, many of whom had severe sensory processing challenges. Linda gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Sensory Integration in 2019 and has undertaken further training in how this affects sleep, feeding, and interoception. In her work she has used the ‘Alert Programme', ‘Zones of Regulation' and Sensory Ladders, along with the ‘ Interoception Curriculum' to help people to understand how to recognise and interpret how their body is feeling and the emotions they are experiencing and then to learn strategies to aid their regulation in everyday situations. Linda's other passion is working with children to develop their visual motor and perceptual skills, and to teach strategies to improve their memory recall.

Nisha Modhvadia

Nisha is one of our Occupational Therapist Assistant's here at Bursting with Potential. Within her role, she supports the children and also helps them to take part in our organised activities that we have planned, as well as encourage them to join in with others too; both in term-time and in the holidays during our Holiday Clubs. Nisha also holds intervention sessions with children and young people. She also plans, and organises activities for sessions, as well as running some too. During Term-time, she is responsible for setting up for groups such as Home Education, Early Intervention and Stay ‘N' Play. During the Holidays, she is responsible for creating activities for our Holiday Club and setting up for sessions we run; such as Sensory Explorers.
