Amjid qualified in 2007 and joined Versus Law Solicitors in 2009 and has been working in the legal field for over 14 years having graduated from University in 2003 and completing his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2004.
Amjid is the head of the firm's litigation department and has a wealth of experience in dealing with personal injury disputes and high value settlements as well as playing a key role in developing and implementing Versus Law's working strategy.
Amjid oversees and manages a team of solicitors, paralegals, and administrative assistants and has been involved in various litigation settlements from contractual disputes, bankruptcy matters, and personal injury settlements.

Bushra Zaman joined Versus Law Solicitors in our conveyancing department as a solicitor in May 2022.
She is a solicitor specialising in commercial and residential conveyancing transactions and dealing with commercial leases acting for both landlords and tenants.
She qualified as a solicitor in May 2007 and since then has been dealing with conveyancing transactional matters, handling a varied caseload. She also has experience in conducting file reviews and supervising a team of paralegals.
Gareth joined the Conveyancing Team in October 2021 as a Case Handler. He has a wealth of experience of working in the Conveyancing Industry for over 7 years working up from a Conveyancing Assistant to a Conveyancing Case Handler.
During this time he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge and deals with a wide variety of different matters ranging from simple transactions to more complex cases, including Leasehold sales and purchases, Right-To-Buy purchases, Help-to-Buy redemptions and Purchase, newbuilds, and Transfer of Equity. He strives to ensure clients are kept as up to date and informed ensuring they have a positive experience with their transaction.

Kulbinder is a senior, associate solicitor at Versus law, with over 17 years of experience in dealing with personal injury claims.
She has worked at Versus Law for the last 10 years and has dealt with road traffic accident claims, employers liability claims, and public liability claims.
She obtained an LLB law degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, prior to completing the Legal Practice Course.
Qualifying in 2000 she has undertaken personal injury and family law work. However her primary focus is on personal injury and getting the best compensation for her clients.
Her duties includes:
Managing claims ranging in value from thousands of pounds to tens of thousand pounds, both fast track and multi track.
Dealing with litigation which involves attending court hearings, drafting court documents and preparing cases for trial.
Teaching and supervising junior staff, as a senior member of the team.
Translating on behalf of client's whose first language is Punjabi
Laura began working at Versus Law in 2016 in the New Claims department. Daily tasks would include gathering information for new and existing cases from clients, insurers and other solicitors, ensuring all details had been collected to progress cases for file handlers.
In 2018 she received my own caseload and worked primarily using the Portal. She has been able to develop her experience on different types of cases as well as ensuring a settlement was achieved that the client deserved and was happy with.
In 2019 she began assisting an Associate Solicitor on high value, personal injury, and complex claims, both fast track and multi-track which involves dealing with litigation and preparing cases for trial.

Nicholas originally joined Versus Law in February 2011.
Nicholas is a Litigation Executive and has a broad wealth of knowledge and experience in a vast array of areas to include: Personal Injury; Landlord and Tenant; Enforcing Charging Orders; Family Law; Possession Proceedings; General Litigation; and Wills and Probate.
Nicholas' versatility in the law, as well as his knowledgeable, fresh, down to earth and practical approach has gained him much admiration from his peers at Versus Law. Nicholas is a very highly and well respected member of the team and the first port of call when dealing with a "novel" area of the law.
Numan joined Versus Law in April 2018 to lead a number of online projects and interfacing various online functions with Proclaim.
Numan has worked in web development for over 20 years starting at HSBC bank in the electronics payment division and has worked for a number of digital agencies across the North West.
His experience spans both front and back end coding, Proclaim integration, and server administration. Numan also manages our relationships with external design and marketing agencies.
Raheela studied Law at the Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated in 2015.
She then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course in 2017.
Raheela joined the firm in December 2018 as a Paralegal.
Raheela is now a trainee solicitor in the Personal Injury team.
Rhian joined Versus Law in 2009 when the firm first opened. Rhian Initially started in the New Claims Department and progressed to become New Claims Supervisor. She is currently a Legal Cashier in the accounts department and assists with HR.
Rhian deals with day to day tasks such as banking and inter account transfers, along with sending payments out including dealing with complex conveyancing transactions and international payments. Rhian is also experienced in dealing with wages, month end, PAYE, compiling reports, reviewing policies and procedures and dealing with Year End Accounts whilst keeping up to date with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Within the HR department Rhian authorises annual leave, records lateness's and absences, attends meetings with other members of staff and the partners. Rhian has received training in house and outside of the firm for both her HR and Accounts duties making her an invaluable member of the firm.
Rhian has worked within Law Firms since 2006 and has gained valuable experience and knowledge along the way.
Shazia joined Versus Law in October 2009 as a Partner. She qualified in 2005 having focused on Personal Injury Law.
Shazia has expertise in a broad range of claims concerning Road Traffic Accidents, Employers Liability, Public Liability, Clinical Negligence, and Travel. During her career, she has undertaken Industrial Disease work to include Noise Induced Hearing Loss, Vibration White Finger, Repetitive Strain Injuries and Asbestosis. She also has experience in various Family Law matters.
She has handled a multitude of cases from inception to trial and her experience has spanned litigation from fast track to multi track cases. She has had many successful interim hearings gaining the best results for her clients along the way. During her career, Shazia has negotiated interim payments and out of court settlements on various matters, recovering thousands of pounds in compensation.
Shazia enjoys managing and mentoring a successful practice and she gains great satisfaction in obtaining the best results for her clients.
Sotiria (cici) studied Manufacturing Management at the Manchester Metropolitan University and gained experience through working in the accounts departments of various firms for the past 22 years with the last 8 years working in various law firms in Manchester as an office manager and legal cashier.
Sotiria deals with every day tasks in the accounts department, such as bank reconciliations, banking, sending payments, updating file handlers promptly on money coming in, and doing month-end procedures.
Sotiria also deals with a wide range of conveyancing transactions, PI and family law account queries, and transactions, all in compliance with the solicitor's accounts rules.
Stephanie joined Versus Law in August 2013 in the Industrial Disease Department specialising in claims for Noise Induced Hearing Loss and other Occupational Induced Hearing Loss.
Stephanie also has experience in a range of personal injury and other types of Industrial Disease cases to include employers liability and public liability, and Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and Contact Dermatitis.
Stephanie graduated from Derby University with a 2:1 degree in Law in 1999 and completed her LPC at the College of Law in Chester in 2000. Stephanie trained, qualified and gained experience at other firms based in the north-east and Lancashire.
Thomas Reid dealt with the sale and purchase of our properties. He was a pleasure to work with - very quick to respond to queries and very efficient in his work. Tracey is one of our longest serving employees joining Versus in 2009.
Starting as an assistant to the senior partner she quickly progressed up the ranks to become the office manager.
Tracey is responsible for the day to day running of the firm, conducts performance reviews, monitors staff attendance, performs inductions for our new starters and manages our relationship with our external partners.
With her approachable manner, she is an invaluable member of the team, our mental health first aider and our "office mum".
