Our goal is to develop a new generation of leaders, especially among those who live in rural areas, who have the aptitude, attitude and vision to lead our communities and our nation in the future... The Alaka'ina supports kanaka ‘oiwi through programs designed in three primary areas; expanding and perpetuating ‘olelo Hawai'i, our aloha ‘aina support and ka wa'a that is a metaphore for the combination of best of Hawaiian and Western technologies.
