Alexa is a sophomore from Santa Barbara, CA and is majoring in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Management and Business. Alexa is also a member of Salant Investment Team and The IX Society. This past summer, Alexa was a summer intern at Resolve Growth Partners, a growth equity firm focusing on B2B SaaS companies. Alexa is passionate about fintech and software companies.
Alvin is a junior from Hong Kong and is majoring in International Studies with a minor in Economics. He is the President of Phi Kappa Psi Maryland Alpha. This next summer, Alvin is going to be a summer analyst at StepStone Group (formerly Greenspring Associates). Alvin is passionate about fintech and B2B SaaS and loves watching hockey and F1.
Anusha is a junior from Washington D.C. and is majoring in Cognitive Science with a minor in Computer Science. Outside of A-Level, she is involved in the Laboratory of Computational Intensive Care Medicine. She is passionate about the intersection of technology and healthcare, and is most interested in early-stage biotech companies.
Arman graduated from Hopkins in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Math & Statistics and a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. He's currently working as a Product Manager at RxDefine, a startup working to streamline patient journeys in healthcare. He previously worked as a consultant at Putnam Associates.
Bill is a sophomore from Nairobi, Kenya majoring in Computer Science. His primary interest is in Machine Learning, composable finance, and generally frontier tech. He previously interned at Nvidia where he built developer tools and ML infrastructure, worked at an early stage blockchain company on off-chain ramps, Crypto VC with TwoSigma Ventures and is building the next FICO score for crypto.
Brian is a junior from Mercer Island, WA and is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Outside of A-Level, Brian is involved in biomedical engineering research at the Kim Lab. In the past, Brian was a product management intern at Alertive Healthcare, a remote blood pressure management IoT Venture.
Cameron is a sophomore from Irvine, CA & is majoring in Economics. He is a member of the JHU Water Polo team & spent this past summer working in multifamily commercial real estate. This summer he will be interning at Picus Capital, an early-stage FinTech & PropTech VC firm in NYC.
David is a two-time founder and sophomore at Johns Hopkins University. In high school, he co-founded a fully encrypted anonymous platform with over 7M interactions to date. He's now President of Blockchain@Hopkins, JHU students' contribution to the third-generation internet and a Co-Founder at Tyze, a blockchain protocol bringing computational extensions to tokenized RE such as DAO governance, algorithmic lending, and transient mortgages.
Demi co-founded A-Level Capital as a senior at Johns Hopkins in 2015 after his experience raising capital for a chocolate company he co-founded on campus. Demi is currently an investor at Sapphire Ventures where he focuses on growth-stage investments. Prior to Sapphire, Demi was a venture capital investor in both San Francisco and New York City where he made investments across stages and in various sectors including B2B software, marketplaces, and healthcare. Prior to his investing career, Demi was a member of the investment banking team at Goldman Sachs. Demi studied Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University where he graduated with Honors. Though it's been several years since he started A-Level, Demi remains passionate about turning JHU into an entrepreneurial powerhouse and continues to be actively involved in A-Level's investment activities.
Elizabeth graduated with an MBA from JHU in 2015. Before graduating, she co-founded A-Level Capital, raising its inaugural fund and helping execute its first investments. She went on to found SoGal Ventures, the first women-led venture capital firm which focuses on building a better future of living, working, and staying healthy. She has expertise in healthcare, strategy, and entrepreneurial finance, and continues to manage ALC's funds and operations.
Evan is a junior from New Jersey studying Computer Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Management. He has a strong interest in product management and software development, and has worked at ALC portfolio companies (emocha, GiveCampus) for the past two summers. On campus, he is also involved in the Outdoors Club and Marque.
Jayden is a senior from Woodside, CA and is majoring in Computer Science. He is also a member of the JHU Water Polo team. This past summer, Jayden was a summer analyst at General Atlantic. He is passionate about how computer science can drive progress in biology and medicine, and focuses his efforts with early-stage life sciences companies.
Liwen is a sophomore majoring in Computer Engineering from Germantown, MD. She spent the past summer interning at Amazon Web Services as a Cloud Consultant. Her interest lies in software and hardware innovations.
Marc is a Senior from New York studying Computer Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Management. This summer, he interned as a Product Manager at Venmo. He previously interned as a Software Engineer at PayPal. He is passionate about tech and software, with particular interest in fintech.
Mira is a junior studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and minoring in Economics. This summer, she was part of the Girls Who Invest program, and interned at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in their endowment fund. She is passionate about mental health awareness and is excited about wellness tech. In Mira's free time, she loves to try new recipes, bulletjournal, and read!
Nikhil is a sophomore from New Providence, NJ studying biomedical engineering with a minor in entrepreneurship and management. This past summer, he worked as a research assistant for the Garza Lab looking at ways to modify skin identity. He is passionate about new innovations in the biotech industry and is interested in a career in early stage investing or life sciences consulting.

Ritvik is a sophomore from Raleigh, NC and is majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Economics. This past summer, Ritvik was a summer analyst at NovaQuest in biopharma product finance. He is passionate about healthcare and medicine, especially the reasoning and mechanisms behind how entities interact.
Sambit is a Biomedical Engineering PhD student in the NeuroData lab and is from Cary, NC. He is also a member of the Institute of Computational Medicine and Center for Imagining Science at Johns Hopkins. He is passionate about building tools that enable data-driven neuroscience and focuses his efforts with early-stage life sciences companies.
Shanthi is a junior from Orlando, Florida studying Political Science and Economics and is a part of a 5-year BA/MA program with JHU SAIS. She is the founder and CEO of Taara Projects-a fashion social enterprise-and has worked at DC-based policy think tanks and health tech startups. In her free time, Shanthi loves to explore local coffee shops and play piano/have jam sessions with her family.

Theo graduated from Hopkins in 2020 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Economics. He's currently working in venture and product at 25madison Health, where he is incubating and investing in early stage healthcare technologies. He previously worked in Product at BlueCross BlueShield.
Will is a Senior from North Andover, MA studying Computer Science and Applied Math. He played piano for the Jazz Ensemble at Hopkins and is the COO of Salant Investment Team. This past summer, he worked at Meta as a software engineer.
