Dr. Sims, previously Dr. Roveto, was married in February 2023!
Dr. Sims started working as a veterinary technician at AAH in 2013. She earned both her undergraduate degree and veterinary doctorate degree at UGA, and returned to AAH as a veterinarian in 2020.
Dr. Sims, her husband, and their families are avid UGA fans. They love cheering on the Dawgs any chance they get!
In college, Dr. Sims volunteered for the Guide Dog Foundation, and she raised an Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms canine candidate named "Acorn".
Dr. Sims has a senior beagle that she rescued in college named Mona. She is pictured on our home page!
Dr. Sims has a passion for learning about and experiencing other cultures. In her free time, she is learning to speak Spanish and American Sign Language!
Dr. Sims enjoys cooking, reading and ballroom dancing for fun!

Dr. Reyes is a writer! Since age of 3, she has been writing short stories, articles, novels, and poems. She has won national competitions during school years.
At the age of 5, she assisted her goat pet to deliver 2 beautiful kids during a complicated kidding.
Dr. Reyes loves wildlife. She has worked with rhinos, lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
At the age of 6, she developed a new "Amapola variety" since "play geneticist" was her favorite activity.
Dr. Reyes loves acting. She has participated in several plays and musicals, and had a role in a movie recorded in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Reyes loves languages. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and is currently learning Portuguese and Italian.
