The EDC officially opened its doors in 2006 as a 501(c)(6), nonprofit, public-private partnership. As a non-sales tax funded, membership based organization, the BKCEDC budget relies on fundraising to accomplish our mission to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse conomic future for Kendall County... Our team assists potential and local businesses with finding resources and making connections for their continued prosperity and growth.
